^ Nice Les Paul collection there bud.

Thinking of getting this once a can afford it... mainly because for a stock guitar it's got pretty much everything I need (won't need to replace the pickups for a while). Going 7 string this time as I've been playing loadsa 'heavy' stuff this year.

Anyone else here play progressive metal? Bands like Sikth, Periphery, Haunted Shores, Fellsilent etc.

Very nice collection!!

Thanks guys. All I could afford when I first started playing was a Les Paul copy... and not even a good one! I think I'm dumb for buying them, though. They remind me of Harley Davidsons... yesterdays technology at tomorrows prices, but they do hold their value pretty good.

That 7 string looks nice and sleek. Why 7? It's hard enough keeping up with 6 strings :)

I've been playing my friends 7 recently and basically discovered my love for them. i play a lot of heavier music so it's really cool having the extra range.

Jesus I had to do some searching to find this thread. I was hoping for a little help from any guitar experts out there.

I recently acquired myself a Guild 12 String 94' Acoustic guitar (was 800$ in 94). It has not be used since, and still even has the original strings. It's been well kept in humidity case w/ humidity regulator.

I also found my old Gibson Studio Les Paul Cherry, I would guess from the early 90s as well.

I'm trying to get a good guess at what these would be worth, and if you have experience, the best avenue to sell them. I have a general idea as i have done some solid research (Les Paul @ 600-1000 - one ding in body, no buckle damage, pretty mint) but have never actually ventured into selling guitars. Will prob try Craigslist to avoid shipping hassles.

So, any comments? I'm just trying to find anything I haven't thought of already, or maybe even pick up a bit of knowledge about the guitars so I know I'm pricing them correctly. Feel free to PM me with advice as well.

Don`t sell or trade `em into Guitar Center. I had a 2006 Les Paul Custom (brand new $3500) that I had only played a few times and kept in the case for another 5 years(near mint) that I needed to sell. Guitar Center offered me $600. I passed on that one.

I've owned 3 Studios over the years. Two from the late 80's and this '06

The first two I bought used in the early 90's and paid $6-700(can't remember exact price). I haven't priced them lately, but you could get an idea from ebay. Another good and active place to get information and possibly sell is the Les Paul Forum.

Sorry I wasn't much help.
