That would be them on the point of passing out. It's like a localised nod just for the odd limb or two at a time.
I've dropped loads of drinks because of it, and just give up and lay down if it happens now.
 
^Same. If you start doing it, whilst you're having a fag, put it out! That does sound like they took far too much. For me, it's normally just my hands that spasm.

the bad effects of g use seem to kick in a lot quicker when you've had bad addictions before.

Only used for three days, done 3ml on 2 of the days and 4.5 on another (over 2, and 3 doses) and today my body hurts loads already :S

GHB crosses both the blood brain barrier and the placental barrier. In the brain GHB binds to GABA-B receptors in the basal ganglia, cortex, hippocampus, midbrain, and substantia nigra. At these and two other sites, GHB stimulates the release of opioid-like substances.2 It also inhibits the release of noradrenaline. It has biphasic dopamine effects and therefore inhibits dopamine release at low doses and stimulates release at high levels.2 In the case of GHB at high doses, a hypnotic state is achieved because of the release of opioid-like substances and dopamine.

What specifically are these "opioid-like substances" they are referring to? 8)
 
I don't know, but I completely believe it. I think G plays with many neurotransmitters.
 
One of my irresponsible mates has discovered GBL.

He's been talking about trying it for a while and I advised him of the dangers and about how bad mixing it with drink could be and he even did some of his own reading and said he'd never do it if drinking / drunk.

He went out the other day got pissed then did it. He has no idea how much he done as they didn't measure it just had 'cap fulls' and he had about 3 of them. Says he lay down and couldn't move basically.

It's going to end in tears.
 
I gave them a talk over the phone. His theory is if that all these other folk he works with do it with booze and have done for a while it must be fine. Baaaaaaaa!
 
He knows the dangerous of mixing it as well. This same cunt ends up in abulances and stuff when only drinking so I know how this will end.

does he not have a dropper, at least? or is that not macho enough?

i dread to think how much is in a capful.
 
Nah these folk he does it with are not educated druggies so no droppers. The are in the gay scene and you know how much they love their drugs, they bosh everything and anything.

It will end in an absolutely disaster for sure. He's always getting him self into terrible states on booze alone, always passing out, spewing, waking up in random places and once on the way to a club a while back he just passed out and collapsed in the street probably because he hadn't eaten for 2 days (doesn't eat) and had drink a massive concotion of booze. Ambulance had to be called.

Even if he did join BL he wouldn't listen to any advice. He knows I know a bit when it comes to drugs and he never listens to me. He reads up about drugs on the net but then disregards the advice anyway and does what he likes. He seems confident that he knows best when it comes to drugs. Always taking dodgy pills even if he's read pillreports and there's 50 bad reviews ala pink stars.
 
Mixing gbl and booze i would say isnt that stupid, but not using a dropper, a recipe for disaster for sure :S
 
I wondered where you went Shambles. :)

He's developed a taste for the G now I can see it becoming a regular thing on nights out for him.

I'll be sure to gloat when he ends up in hospital just like every good mate would. ;)

Apparently when he took it the other night he lay down on the floor and couldn't move. Doesn't sound like a good sign.
