I can't believe GBL is being plugged! Lol I chuckled. You guys are mad. The taste isn't the end of the world.

... although I am curious

Is the come-up faster? Does it burn?

It's not just the taste though. Many people get very nauseous on GBL and it rather spoils the pleasant effects. Plugging eliminates nausea so it's a good option for some - well diluted, naturally ;).

The come up is fast and hits a bit harder than oral, and you generally only need half the amount you would dose orally. It shouldn't burn either - dilute it 1 part GBL to 9 parts water (1ml GBL + 9ml of water, for example) and squirt it in there :).

Perhaps not for everyone though :D.

As for tolerance, the general opinion is that it produces little or no tolerance. I've never needed to take more than my normal (2ml) dose even when using 24/7. And addiction is definitely an issue. There are a fair few folk here who can tell you a tale or two about the hideous withdrawals. Dosing once or twice a night will almost certainly not cause addiction. Dosing 24/7 almost certainly will.

PS: Glad you made it over from OD - welcome :).

Strobe lights?!

Hi guys, been a long time lurker on this forum and would just like too say I have found no other forum as informative as this when it comes too various chemicals!

Anyway, the reason I joined is that I have a a side effect of GBL use that I havent seen anywhere else stated on this forum, or even the internet.

When I take a a dose about 2ml+, I get flashes of bright light in my vision, almost like a strobe light. It seems too occur every 5 or so minutes. This is also accompanied by involuntary movments in my hand which when im out, results in me dropping things out of my hand that can be quite embarassing. Especially when it happens more than once.

Will really appreciate any help on this matter. Also, I like all the other effects at this dosage, apart from the ones I just described so lowering the dosage wouldnt be ideal.

Cheers guys.

I could never gauge a good dose, 3ml would leave me wanting more and 3.5ml+ (in one taking) would leave me thinking; 'hmmm, this sofa is very comfy, wouldn't mind a quick rest'. I used to work two jobs and was often late for my evening job due to this.

Hi, Egoloss - welcome to EADD. Have fun :).

I get the involuntary movements a lot on G - it's quite common, I believe - lots of sudden jerks. I also get something similar to the flashes you describe, but not all the time and only if using a highish dose or plugging it. It seems to happen (for me) if I'm just on the verge of nodding but doesn't overly bother me - quite like it actually :).

Perhaps it would be worth shaving just a small amount off your usual dose. Maybe try 0.1ml less and see how you go. GBL is very dose sensitive and a tiny adjustment can make a big difference. It can take quite a bit of fiddling to find your own ideal dose :).

Thanks alot for your reply Shambles. Muchly appreciated. Yeah Im gonna try and measure out my dose more correctly I think. I do have a measuring pipette, but I dont exactly take great care in measuring it out correctly if you know what I mean. Maybe sometimes 0.1-0.3ml over or below. Which I know I shouldnt be doing as GBL is so dose sensitive.

What really annoys me about GBL is that there was one time I had pretty intense euphoria and the most amazing effects from it, however I have never been able too achieve an experience like this on it again. I assume that this was my perfect dose. Have no idea what it was cause I was redosing variable doses every hour too achieve this experience which lasted for around 2 hours.

Ha! I've had a few of those myself :D.

I can never remember my exact dose cos I'm also a bit sloppy with my measuring sometimes. It may be worth your while (mine too, come to think of it) to do a bit of judicious titration.

The pipettes that come with it are not great as they only measure 0.5ml. I use a 2ml syringe to measure doses more accurately. Thery're usually used for measuring small doses of medicine for babies and so forth and you can buy them at the chemists or online.

It'll take a few attempts to find your own particular sweet-spot, but I'm sure you'll have fun along the way :).

oral syringes

I got them from boots quite easily. If your in the UK try boots, if they don't have them in stock they will order them :)
well your sick baby does need its medication after all...

Boots is where I tried, several stores.

I checked everywhere for them and they were nowhere to be seen.

I've always been sold the good when I've asked for a syringe to feed my non existent baby. You must look like a filthy maggot infested carrot cake if they don't eve let you off with such a device. ;)

It's a bloody measuring syringe / pipette I'm after not bloody heroin, the shops aren't going to refuse anyone.

They just didn't have them.

My local tesco always tells me they have no co-codmol if i turn up wearing old track suit bottoms. Even when I can see it on the shelves...

'I wonder what your kind wants that for, dear sir'.

Co-codamol is a drug. A measuring pipette is just that, there's nothing sinister there.

I very much doubt they can refuse to sell you a measuring instrument.
