The EADD Trifle Annoyed Thread - Wobbly & Custard

I'm still working (it's 7pm here) and I was supposed to leave for a few days holiday at 9am:p

This happens all the fucking time. I book time off; all hell breaks loose. On the plus side it's sorted now and I'm going to leave tomorrow morning but not officially start my leave until Tuesday, so there's a bit of a silver lining%)
 
Think all hell breaking loose is a pre-requisite for booking time off, least it seems that way.
 
Might be. I actually did NOTHING for the last ten days, cause nothing was there to be done. Was dull as dishwater.

Then this morning got loaded with about twenty different baskets of bullchit.

Sods law.
 
Despite my day beginning with good fortune, I am now back in the annoyed thread through my own stupidity. I was messing around with my old phone and stupidly I put my current simcard in it... forgetting that it's one of the mini ones that only fancy new phones have. Result? My fucking simcard is wedged in my old phone and I CANNOT get it out no matter what I seem to try. Arghhh. Kill me. I only did it to try and get some old texts off, so by my being a sentimental fool I've probably fucked my simcard and will have to get a new one unless the phone is kind enough to spit it out. Retard. :!

Update: Crisis averted, my mum did in 10 minutes what I've been failing to do for an hour. Guess she is good for something after all ;)

Don't have a lighter, can't find one, and have to use the hob to light my joint so obviously it's gone out five times since I first lit it

No toaster? In desperation I would sometimes spray some body spray and try and catch the wet patch with the sparks from a spent lighter. Maybe you just don't have a lighter, full stop :|

Is it a gas hob at least?

I have been having lighter issues also! Cannot find any anywhere.

really not looking forward to returning to work tomorrow. My hand is slightly swollen, and it aches at the slightest knock. I finally got a shower today so it'll be rebandanged soon again. Mentally I don't think I'm prepared to go back but at least it'll keep occupied. Handling recent developments in a more calm manner which isn't normal so I am awaiting the storm. Least I have lots of drugs left still.

They just vanish off into another dimension, I think. Can't keep one more than a couple days it seems. Sucks about the hand, they're a real bugger as far as not knocking them goes, or not forgetting you can't use them properly and making it even worse. Hope your first day back goes alright, and lots of drugs is always a plus at least
 
My lighters disappear in a vaping haze.

Edit: I have found two more lighters. This improves everything.

Ah GL that's shit. Have you got a good support network outside your family?

Edit: Sometimes you just have to accept that your family can't meet your emotional needs and find the correct support elsewhere, although it's quite difficult to really come to terms with that.

edit: Had a chat with mum who couldnt get rid of me quicker. Being swept out everywhere. Y'know what, I'll get my coat and leave.
