This is the theory I've tended to go for when it comes to all that Elves bizniz. The general response is to wait until I get to meet the lil blighters before deciding too firmly. I've read a fair bit about it and must admit some of the stories are very intriguing indeed. I suspect I will have to wait for that elven meeting to really make my mind up about it. I've not gotten past the point of pretty things on previous attempts. Will see what the Fairies provide...

I'd put that the opposite way around for myself. Acid I've always gotten on brilliantly with under any circumstances but mushies and mushy-related psyches have been the only ones to truly put the willies up me once or twice. The only truly bad trip (as in nothing of any real use - just plain terrified and panicky) was on mushrooms. Although I suppose I did gain new levels of respect for them in the aftermath so I guess it was a valuable lesson cos I'd been pretty carefree with them prior to that. I think all psyches should be treated with respect cos any one of 'em can turn on you if you take liberties.

Never tried it but heard 4-aco-dmt is anything but shallow, and can go south pretty quickly.

I presume you've read the DMT/Alien Abduction theory in The Spirit Molecule, Dan? Having not had that level of breakthrough I really can't comment but is an interesting idea and those particular trip reports were amongst the most intriguing to me. Particularly the way the 'alien doctors' appeared to be doing their own thing whilst the tripper came and went for the duration of the DMT but missed the bits of conversation that would have happened in between. I've not explained that very well but any who've read the book will know what I mean and that particular aspect does suggest some type of parallel existence. That's not to say I entirely buy into the idea of some kinda parallel elvish realm but such a thing would be extremely hard to prove and as circumstantial evidence goes that particular quirk did intrigue me.

I cackled =D, &aye tbf only have a fair bit of experience with 4-ho-met which i found it prerttu much impossible to have a bad trip on, esp in some of the circumstances i took it, other shroom-esqe RCs ones probably aint so forgiving and some wil be terrified, shouldnt've been so general

Ive only done acid a couple of times, and mushrooms about 6 times but i wholeheartdedly and undoubtedly do buy into the 'you need to be in a good place to do them' thing, as they can massively intensify whatever state of mind you happen to be in beforehand. Set and setting and choice of music and company is so important. I once had a nervy mushroom trip turn into one of the best by encountering someone else on them who happened to be in a fantastic place, and it was contageous and immediately changed the course of my trip. The negative shit can be contageous too though. I doubt I'll ever go near a pure psychedelic again, a good experience can linger with you and change your outlook for months, as can a bad one. The stakes are just too high IMO.

I'm a fine one to talk and cannot even take my own advice but if you are getting yourself into life threatening situations wouldnt it be a good idea to take a bit of a break from the stims? Sleep deprivation, probably not eating properly, and comedown blues are the last thing you need if your ship is allready loosing it's anchors a bit.

I have indeed, the alien stuff was extremely fleeting though, infact the whole thing is so fucking amazing and wild its beyond
 
Had a couple DMT experiences not long ago, haven't come across any elves, only alien god overlords/other undefinable entities of vastly varying height so far.

Pretty sweet :)
 
Yeah entities always apparent in mine, mainly this female, felt like mothernature or something, she told me everything is above love and never to worry

Now you come to mention it so am I. I'd completely forgotten about that. Was on MXE + DMT and also didn't actually see any aliens but had a very distinct impression that there were aliens around. Also did an automatic drawing (random scribbling without looking with a biro - was barely aware I was doing it) and it was very clearly a classic grey alien face that emerged from the gaps between the mass of scribbled lines. Also kept seeing those grey alien faces in all kindsa things for weeks afterwards - particularly in a cobweb I had in the corner of the room. I had a very clear sense that there was an 'alien queen' involved. Was distinctly feminine but also distinctly alien. Annoyingly traditional grey-type alien at that.

I wasn't required to get my cock out but it was already out due to being nekkid (was a hot day and I like being nekkid (curtains were shut - no need to give neighbours nightmares)). I could hear voices outside and laughter and had a very clear impression of "little people" dancing around the house singing, laughing and joking. Never saw them but could just "sense it". The only visuals I got were lil pink cartoon hearts "steaming" off of my nekkid flesh. I felt very loved. Was quite uncanny and just what I needed as I was going through a bit of a bad patch. Had forgotten the alien influence on that one - mostly just remember the hearts bit.
 
Not sure on when to try this K i have, hoping the 20mg of valium i took approx an hour ago won't interrupt with it too much. Think I may have to try a few NOS balloons whilst doing the K, heard good things about nitrous when on K :)
