Since some of us appear to have missed a beat, back in October 2009, in the run up to the last election, the Head of the government subsidised Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drug's (ACMD) was fired from his position after giving a private lecture at some UK uni where he presented the finding's of a government subsidised study designed to rank the 20 most prominant drugs in terms of their relative harms. The the labour government decided that since alcholol was found to be in the top five most dangerous drugs, (while cannabis, exctacy and lsd were not) that instead of allowing their own advisory panel to present these findings in public, they would instead choose to sensor these findings.

The experts concerning this issue are David Nutt, who was fired, along with 7 other prominent scientists who resigned in protest.

If that doesn't do it for you, a couple of years previously to this, the chief scientific advisor to the government, Sir David King, resigned from his post stating that his whole position in government was an absolute waste of time due to the simple fact that he couldn't find any more than a handful of active politicians who even had the semblence of a grasp of basic scientific principles that were an absolute necessity if he was to able to communicate effectively with any of them.

I don't know which experts you have in mind Raas but I have no doubt in my mind over which one's I put my faith and trust in. Care to offer up any names?

Oh my god I am broken..a gram of fourfa since Saturday..little sleep..bed this morning of 5 etz and a beer..I can hardly see..another 5 etz just now and a vodka..There you go SHM (welcome back and post some tunes yerself you cunt <3) you hate us talking about sobriety and lucozade...SO will that do you for starters?
MDMA on order..seem to have fallen off any kind of sabbatical and 'sensible' use..so yep see you on the othher side.
 
Should not have touched the EPH I got today. Voices & Paranoia intense right now. Fuck me drinkin loads aint helping shite.
 
Because its a drug board. If people want to talk about not doing drugs they can always go to ecstasy discussion or whatever it's renamed itself as these days.

Take more drugs. Rehab is for quitters. Quitters never win.
 
Nothing eve... im sober and its nice. reading about drugs, got some drugs, dont want any. will power ya see. might have some jaffa cakes and a nap. kinda keeping the balance n all that
 
Sat here with a little benzo high wishing I'd got something to stick up my nostril and make me gurn, doesn't help I'm smoke free at the minute. Craving everything possible. Just ordered some Ethylphenidate for the weekend, so many mixed reviews but I need a break from mephedrone and the stuff they are passing off as mdma round here. I don't buy it, that stuff makes me far too sleepy and I need to find a nice, euphoric, speedy balance for a rave I have coming up soon. Oh how I miss the days of "you got any pills mate?" And you knew what you were buying....

I wouldn't really recommend eth for a rave, IME at low dose it is just feels like a functional/study aid drug and at high doses you need to drink loads or be on benzos to make it enjoyable. Too jittery for me.
I to am out of smoke, had some oxy then decided to do a coke oxy line. Now I want smoke more than ever. Might have to start drinking.
 
In terms of talking about sobriety.. dunno, I guess I don't talk about how sober/not sober I am, usually. Am sober at least 50% of the time, anyway.

I just slept for 15, maybe 16 hours?

Feels terrible waking up as the sun is setting and knowing I'm gonna have to spend the whole night awake yet again.
Could've sorted out my sleeping yesterday if only I had gone to sleep before midnight.
I was tired enough to do so but nah instead I pushed on until 5 in the morning. :\

Really tempted to go outside for a walk and get another beer or two.
...on the other hand I'm sick of going to these indian shops. There's like 5 different ones just down the road and all of these guys know me.
 
Thanks for the advice, I'll have benzos on hand anyway. Kinda disappointed now though was looking forward to something with a decent kick but enhances euphoria too. It's getting harder to come by decent drugs for me and I don't really have the contacts so I'm relying on rc's to fit the bill. I'm really in the mood to get smashed tonight. I was good all bank holiday and I feel like I've missed out....
