U such a fine guy.Yes I have tried antabuse and it can make u really sick, but u can just go buy sum other pills over the counter and then u can drink again all fine. So will quit without antabuse. Only diclaz from tommorrow in a week or so then I just have to battle my cravings for alcohol. But the wd's would be gone I think.

Whats antabuse like? Some of my friends in the support group are on that or the other stuff for alcohol addiction - but I forgot what it's called.

Spot on MDB.. I stopped engaging with her after several pm exchanges where I tried to be honest but sensitive and genuinely tried to help her understand how she comes across to other people
..
I gave up in frustration and just don't engage with her at all any more - if more people did the same, this place might have a better atmosphere..
I hardly post any more, and read with, mostly, a sense of exasperation...
Anyway, just wanted to say that in complete contrast to 'erself, you do seem to have a good degree of insight into where you went wrong and what you need to work on to get on the road you want, and I have no doubt you have the capacity to do it.

U can't feel it Evey, it just do so when u drink u get really sick. Infact u can die from an alcohol+antabuse combo if really unlucky. Its used to motivate the user not to drink.

Means a lot x i was actually trying to help as per text i sent you earlier saying should we try n help him bi got frustrated because he isn't taking responsibility for things going wrong. Blaming drugs, the counsellors, keyworkers. What sort of friend would i be if i just agree for the sake of it.
I got frustrated because I actually care, tried helping him a few weeks back n now he's lost his job. I wasn't trying to be mean but sometimes you cant always say what someone wants to hear.

One of the posts you quoted is an example of the cheap innuendo I come out with every day. Hardly vindictive or spiteful. Immature? Well that's the point, stupid.
I'm not 'taking sides' at all. My outburst merely reflects my weariness and frustration at what I and others perceive to be the toxic influence of Evey's thread-derailing, atmosphere-souring, attention-craving, never-ending histrionics. Maybe 'there's the fucking door' is a little aggressive, but I stand firmly by the message behind it.
I did happen to comment on an attack on MDB which Evey has since removed, as I frankly found it disturbing and stalker-like, to the extent that I feared for the safety of MDB, whom I have met and would consider a genuine BL friend. It wasn't degrading abuse either, before you go for that angle. I received several angry PMs for my trouble.
Am I not allowed to do that just because it's your buddy Evey? Fuck that.

I'll tell you what: why don't you go to Gaza and see all the real drama and tragedy that happens over there and get some context yourself?
Maybe then you'll realise that all things are relative, and in the context of this little subforum, some annoying git airing her dirty laundry in public on a daily basis is quite fucking irritating indeed.
And yes, I should ignore it (as per your PM, which I may or may not read, though doubtless it's good advice) but when it spills over into other people's posts, as Evey's flare-ups do, even the ignore function doesn't cut it. To say nothing of the fact that any decent conversation which might occur tends to get interrupted with something inane or a stupid misunderstanding.
I'll leave it there for the sake of the thread.
