Yeah ive heard the atmosphere at psytrance nights is extremely friendly, but i think the music alone is enough to put me on a bad one sadly ;)

^That! Plus they seem to realise that the music is often an acquired taste and there's usually other tents/rooms. The last one I went to had some amazing dnb/dubstep playing, which sounds quite fun on acid. Tis worth giving the scene a try at some point. ;)
 
Yeah im also extremely particular about music when on drugs. Although i probably wouldnt turn down the opportunity to go. The friendly atmosphere and copious amounts of ketamine probably outweigh the absolute hogwash coming out of the speakers.
 
On the subject of fuckedness (kind of) does anyone have any ideas for what I can put this weed in to stop it stinking out my room? I can still fucking smell it through 4 zip loc bags and a drawer. I actually like the smell (and strong=good right?) but just in case anyone else comes in here...
 
I may have said quite often at psy nights.. "Jesus Christ this music is awfu-- oh, no wait, it's *amazing*." Though I do like some of it when sober. ;)
 
I'm an immense tunes snob... sometimes you have to experience a thing to "get it". Psytrance would be one of those things.

On the "being out of control" on psyches thing. You're not. Ever. You give control which means you retain control over that allowance. You loan it out on strict condition it remains your control at a fundamental level.

Too much ketamine makes psytrance sound horribly wrong - more wrong than it sounds sober. You need MDMA and psyches - combined. Ideally at high volume - tunes and drugs. There is reason it sounds that way. It doesn't work outside of that.

Combining two of my most disliked things... and doing that sow's ear, silk purse thing again. Admittedly I wouldn't listen to it right now either due to not being on emdee nor ellessdee nor owt related.

This I would listen to though - sober or otherwise - and is the same fella which just goes to show that bookcovers are a moderate guide at best.
