I accidentally took paracetamol plus earlier for a headache. The caffeine fucked me up good and proper. One drug I completely hate.

Nah, you're right, as I've mentioned Summer remind me of myself (and probably remind you of yourselves too) a few years ago. But when everyone started trying to help me, I just saw it as a load of darts aiming towards me, form a load of "hypocritical" people who "used to do it and yet DARE to lecture me on it," I just ended up extremely angry saying all sorts of vicious things to them in "defence," that's why I suggested that it's best to leave it now and get on with whatever. We don't want her thinking we're against her n her ending up leaving and possibility getting into more danger.

For experience of addiction on forums, and this is just a suggestion, but would be best for some friends of Summer, eg Dan, to PM and talk to her that way about all this when she's ready to talk.

Just my pennies worth.

Seriously though, that's why I suggested we stop now as it's obviously winding Summer up, which isn't the intention n she's not a cokehead, OTW, she's a 19 year old female student. That's why we've been concerned for her. Still glad to see you around here n your "honesty." heheheheh

Fucking snap! I went totally decaf in December... don't see the point in it. Not like it actually does anything other than keep you awake at night when you don't want to be... much better stimulants for keeping you awake at night if that is the plan. ;)
 
Paracetamol plus contain caffeine and I'm hyperseinsitive to caffiene. It makes me feel like I've had a tenners worth of speed with none of the nice effects just the negative ones. God forbid I drink coffee lol. Sends me a bit divvy.

Certainly caffeine and not codeine, neurafen plus contain both caffeine and codeine along with ibuprofen though. I can't take codeine, it gives me a pain very similar to gall stone pain. Speaking from experience it's not very nice at all.

I'd almost certainly agree, it's rare I take it but the headache became very annoying. The only thing I disagree with is that it's the only thing I've seen over the counter that will bring a babies tempature down which is vital if they are running a fever. It's kept my little bro out of hospital on 3 occasions. Is there an alternative?
 
She's 19 for fuck sake. She hasn't burnt any bridges with her parents yet, and has a cashed up banked account.

She'll do a gig modding the place well before the eventual dope and RC habit hits. She hasn't even lost her shit on ketamine yet. Wait until her boyfriend cheats on her before her eventual slide. Got to lose your looks before your mind.


Anyone heard from cherry?

Yeh, strangely, paracetamol does seem to be particularly effective at reducing a child's temperature. My daughter had a febrile convulsion aged 3, and paracetamol was very effective at making sure it didn't happen again. But for adults, I would argue that ibuprofen is much more effective for just about any pain than paracetamol.

OTW - yes, lots of branded paracetamol tablets are cut with caffeine for some reason.....
 
To be fair it is a forum post designed for people to brag about how smashed they are, obviously people are posting in here as if to use it as an agony aunt and people have took the oppertunity to bite but that's just the way it goes, summer can take or leave the advice. It makes no odds as long as the the people giving the advice feel that they got off their chest what they needed to as possibly if they had not contributed and God forbid something happen to summer or anyone posting then they can feel they warned and advised on more responsible use (i use the term responsible loosely as we all take risks by taking drugs) I don't think there's a right nor wrong personally. I do however feel this summer was trying to find a fitting in medium and its got a huge negative reaction. May I suggest the dark side for posts relating to your own carelessness due to feeling low. The people in there are significantly more tolerable and helpful and will certainly avoid harsh criticism. Don't be mad at the people posting in here. 99% are smashed in someway or another hense the thread title.

I had a codeine addiction but didn't use that OTC crap bought the 60mg tabs from online pharmacies plus codeine linctus etc.
