The length of the pill is identical to the diameter of a 2p coin. So about an inch long I guess. Not hard to swallow with plenty of water.

I doubt I'll get to see the footage, apparently the guy in the hospital who assesses them won't look at it for 2 weeks anyway, then the results go to my consultant who decides what info to impart on me.

It makes no difference to my treatment anyway, I already got my new prescription before the test. Just ruling out Crohn's disease in the small bowel.

Cool bit of tech all the same. The bowel prep last night was VERY not cool though :(
 
I have seen footage from one of those cameras journeys through the body on TV. A very impressive piece of technology.

Riiigghhhhtttt. I'm looking for a reason to live. Can anybody give me one? Here's the score.

Had prostate cancer. Treatment saved my life but not sure that's a good thing. Treatment also left me with a massive difficulty to have sex (my favourite pasttime) and something called retrograde ejaculation. Look it up.

Now diagnosed with arteriosclerosis. Had to stop smoking, spliffs and all. Told I could lose my leg. Treatment? Not possible without a good chance of losing my leg. Can't walk more than 50 yards or so without extreme pain. Good job I drive like Ayrton Senna (insert non-dead driver here).

Two weeks ago my best friend died aged 31. Accidental OD. Could have been better without his dad ringing me up looking for someone to kill blame. Cut out of all official mourning, including the cremation I missed last week and only heard about via 3rd parties on Fuckbook.

So give me a reason to live. I'm betting you can't. Because I can't fucking find one.

Do you have eyes that can see and ears that can hear and a nosal that can smell and b uds that can still taste?

Probably all looks smells tastes and sounds like shit right now but that will change and if it doesn't ever then i lose the bet.:(

But seriously Josh hope they are stuffing you to the gills with pain meds and your doing as well as you can..I very luckily got out of having to have this done 8 years ago for more arse related stuff.
<3 keep strong..is there an end date to procedures and healing in their guestimation..or are you a way from that point yet?

Don't know if its enough anymore. Particularly with one IRL friend left (gf excepted)

365 FB friends, and I'm not even on FB anyway, don't count for shit.
 
one for every day of the year. You could meet some new people, there could be something good just around the corner waiting for you. There could be some amazing new inventions, discoveries or events. There could be some great new music, films or TV series, someone might do something amazing. At the very worse you could discover a new drug. :\

Dark days for you SHM.. I'm sorry to hear it, but it's understandable given the shit you've had to / are having to deal with.

Afraid all I can offer is empathy, and platitudes .. All things pass, and often the darkest hour is right before the dawn.
I wouldn't say them, however, had I not known them to be true.
