Feck maxa that's pretty heavy :(
Are those injections helping you at all?
I hope you get sorted out and are fighting fit quick-sharp matey <3

I finally got a letter in 2 years later for the Pain Clinic, fingers crossed I can get something that works, DHC 120mgs and Clonazepam are the perfect combo, because it's mostly muscle spasms nerve damage I've got in my back and legs, Currently on 900mg Gabapentin per day and Tramadol ER200mgs per day , wich is shit, the Gabas have helped but I only asked for long acting Tramadol so that I could try and get swapped to long acting DHC from another Dr, bottom line I am in pain 24/7 so I need a ER pain killer and I'll tell him Tramadol gives me weird SSRI side effects wich it does, I am getting them right now, fucking horrible !!
ONLY 2 YEARS?!?!?!?! 8o :|
I know that they're overstretched but still, people are having to wait so long for their assistance and they're in so much fucking pain that it's driving them crazy and effecting all areas of their life :\

I'm also scripted 900mg of Gabapentin a day (300mg thrice daily) and I'm taking much larger doses for less days of the week to be gaining it's help and yeah - I think it's helping: I've certainly not been waking up in excruciating pain in my legs as I used to be earlier in the year / before that, but the back pain still plagues me quite a bit and rather badly when I am unable to sleep for some reason :?
It doesn't "get me high" or even sedate me for that matter! So I don't know what people who say they find it is recreational are on about, but I'm still apprehensive about asking for a dose increase from my GP :(
I don't want her to up my Codeine or my Diaz or anything else, infact if anything it would be to up my Amitriptyline to 200mg every now and again if my insomnia was in a particularly bad state (but with the S.A.D. I'm sleeping too much at present 8( ), but I don't want to start my taper again yet as I'm starting the work placement program and am hopeful due to seeing this lovely bloke and hearing about what they're going to do to get me back into work :)

Anyhoo - Ramble over.

<3 <3 <3 Much love and hope to everyone else in pain who are wishing for the right treatment at present <3 <3 <3

Had scan today which showed I have got a Dvt as suspected but more worrying is they also found that I also have enlarged lymph nodes inside my abdomen which I wasn't expecting.
Got more syringes to carry on with home injections for my leg.Got to wait for another call sometime to go in for a different scan I think to look at the nodes in my abdomen and on the 13th I have to go in for a blood test and then have a biopsy done on my lymph nodes to try and find out why they are enlarged.
So wasn't expecting that, was just worried about my leg at start of the day.

Tis the enlarged nodes that causes the swelling well in my case it was i had them on mt Femoral Artery .

Any idea what suddenly brought this on , that would be worrying me ?

Yeah the lymph nodes either side of my groin are both enlarged as well.
I don't know why all this has happened as I haven't injected anything for years, not even had a toot for 15months. No long haul flights or any injuries or bites etc.
I checked my calendar & I had an appt with my Gp back in February as I had swollen lymph nodes in my neck and near jawline so I don't know it this is connected back to then or not.
Got a biopsy on my lymph nodes next week so they can try & find out what's going on.

Thanks Brimz mate. I've been trying to get info from google but it's better to talk to someone who has personal experience of it.
No doubt as some questions arise I will pm u so thanks for the help mate.

Too true mate, you can look up a headache on google and come away convinced you've got a brain tumour.

Are they still operating?

I'm sitting here thinking "do I take a proper dose of etizolam, which I know fixes my neck pain, and risk getting into a vicious circle of daily increased doses, but actually enjoy what's left of the day. or do I put up and suffer?"

Answers on a postcard.

edit: It worked :)

I mean: itw kroed!

Maybe it I take even more it will work more????

I still have to deal with my tired face. I feel like a very old person. What's the drug for tired face?

I believe Botox can make an old tired looking face regain some of its wrinkle free youthfulness for a short period of time.

my face doesn't look old and tired! I don't think so anyway. It just feels old and tired. Like there's a layer of decaying flesh under the youthful, healthy top layer.

It's probably something to do with kratom not working any more.

If you still have youthful good looks Knock then yeah I guess it could be your kratom not working for you.

I keep tellin' ya =D

Might give it a shot though :sus:

Anyway it used to be Ulay, and now it's Olay, like a toreador! Isn't that odd.

Funny you say that Knock cos as I was writing that post I had to ask my mate if he knew whether it was Ulay or Olay now.
I'm nearly 43 and wrinkle free so far, my mum still looks good in her early 60's so I'm hoping I am the same at that age.
Back on topic, had a bastard toothache for the last 2 days.It comes & goes, one minute its fine and the next I feel like tearing the bloody thing out.

Dentists are so expensive! I do find that interdental brushes have made a gargantuan improvement to my overall dental health (and maybe mental health). And swishing mouthwash about is good too.

I'm really struggling to get used to my new plumbing. The added acidity and frequency of my bowel movements (still 10+ a day) means I'm constantly sore, sometimes too sore to even sit down, in spite of having an array of lotions and creams to soothe and provide a barrier to the acidity. Even the softest toilet paper feels like sandpaper, and although those wet flushable tissues help (don't lecture me about the environmental impact of these), I'm not always at home to use them and have to make do with what's available.

On top of that I have to try to resist the urge to go to the loo as soon as I feel like I need to, in order to stretch out the pouch and make it bigger, hopefully reducing the overall number of movements a day, but this means I'm spending a lot of every day feeling absolutely desperate to take a shit, which isn't ideal.

I don't know, it's still quite soon after the op (5 weeks) and I was told to measure improvements in weeks rather than months, but that 85% success rate for this surgery is playing in my head again and I'm almost starting to regret it. Having an ostomy wasn't ideal with the occasional leaks and the cosmetic side of things causing a lack of confidence, but I was a lot more comfortable than I am now, and was only getting up to go to the loo once a night rather than 3 times like I am now, so I felt more alive and much happier during the day.

I guess I'm just tired, sore and grouchy and wanted to have a little rant somewhere :(

Rant away roganjosh, that sounds like a terrible situation.

I've had a sore rectum, when I plugged AH7921, it was agony. So I am thinking your's is probably like that, all the time! Not nice <3

I use those wet wipes, can you not carry them with you?

I actually have an "arse flannel" of my own invention that I am planning to use instead of the wet wipes, that doesn't get flushed :D

I'm not even sure those wipes are in anyway environmentally unfriendly... Sewage goes to the treatment works, where they are prepared for stuff like that. I don't think it's a problem!

I dunno, I read a few articles that claim they're causing havoc with the sewage system.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/dailybr...-sewer-systems-officials-claim-194234354.html

I could (and should) carry some with me when I'm out but I was mainly thinking about when I'm at work. Whilst I have told the people I work with directly on my team at my new job what's going on, I don't really want everyone in the office seeing me heading off to the loo with a bunch of hygiene products every time, or do I want to have to take my bag in with me, coz that just looks like I'm heading off to do drugs right? Heh, maybe I'm overly paranoid about what people think of me...
