Yeah they cut them when I said I was possibly going to be off for over 3 weeks (moaned and groaned over the phone, dont I know its PEAK time for xmas?) er ok like it really bothers me, first time I have been sick for longer than 1 day in 6 years.

Got myself a nice neck-brace thingy now although its itchy as fuck, acupuncture was shit though 10/10 she gave a mean massage. Theres no way im gonig to work wearing this huge fuicker, just going to wallow in my pit for another week or 2 untill im hopefully healed, somehow.

Is he balls, hes laughing it off. I guess its one of those freak things that happen. I have had the fortune though of being put in someone elses shoes, public places when my head is so twisted sideways people think im looking at them, then my holding it straight and it shaking so violently I just run off. I think I need to invest in some proper painkillers, going to see what the market has to offer.

ON the plus side its nice not having to get diazepam by illegal means, £7.50 odd for for a 28 box of 5's, I probably make a nice saving of around a fiver, yay.

OK Etiz fixes my bad neck better than opioids. I suppose it's the muscle relaxant properties. Feels like a huge pain has been lifted from my shoulder :D Just one more pain to go :sus:

Yeah so it's a given that i'm in pain but , today i got a letter from the Pain Clinic .

It all sounded really promising till the bit about 18 weeks .. Well i guess that means my GP will have to carry on scripting me for that time.

I found that benzos are a miracle cure when it comes to neck/muscle pain, opiates just don't work great for that stuff. Ever since I've been on constant alpraz/diaz scripts, even though those aren't even particular muscle relaxant benzos, my neck pain has just completely evaporated.

I was surprised to be prescribed diazepam when I put my back out a few years back, but it really did work.

Blatant set up for i will take benzo's for as long as possible . C'mon Neck pain it's a tad ambiguous not quite back pain but damn close;)

Diazepam is the Muscle relaxant benzo in this fair isle i do believe ?

I bet you could find a non addictive cure for "Neck pain" a massage maybe sounds like stress to me P. n you have been going through some from what i have read<3

Yeah it does if it's a muscular ting

Nah, my neck pain isn't really related to stress - had a serious accident when I was 15 and practically broke my neck, it's been pretty fucked ever since - the cervicals are out of place and a few nerves are trapped between them. I was on oxys and then morphine for a while but nothing really helped until I got on benzos and like I said, it's practically gone now :)
They used to prescribe tetrazepam for muscle pain in France which was brilliant but it's banned there now, and I think it is in the UK as well sadly. Some people were seriously allergic or something like that.

Pagey it's really sad that a girl barely out if her teens has been prescribed all these Very Strong Opiates. I really think that you have been done a dis service . You may not see this atm but come when your 40 or summat n your in pain what's gonna happen then ?

You need to really think about this . As we get older our bodies get more n aches n pains & if we are lucky most of us don't have to resort to anything past Codeine .

I have a Severe Degenerative condition That has been with me for well over 10 years & only recently have i been prescribed Oxy n not that much either really . Take in to account a opiate tolerance of over 20 years n i am approaching 40 that doesn't sound to bad .

A teenager getting Oxy , Morphine & Other Top Shelf pain meds is not going to end well . Tetrazepam is basically a muscle relaxant period it has little recreational use & is probably one of the least Harmful Benzo's shame you can't get them .

Just think about what i just said , i don't expect you to do anything cos i say so . I just wish that some older folk were around when i was around your age to tell me similar things that's all<3

Oh don't worry brimz - I was prescribed those really strong opiates at 15, the strongest I get prescribed is DHC now. It was definitely not fantastic to be put on morphine & oxys at that age because that is what got me into the world of opiates in the first place, but it really was a rather severe accident :\ and too late now to do anything about that, sadly...
I knew strictly nothing about opiates at the time so I never thought to question the prescription :\

But I've stopped using opiates for pain now, I stick to muscle relaxants and benzos and stuff instead. Thank you for the concern though <3

I am a bit worried about my left leg at the moment.
It was giving me a bit of pain this afternoon near the top of my leg inside of my thigh & I took my jeans off and noticed that my left leg is swollen & deffo bigger than my right leg.
Also if I push my calf muscle it is really hard as if i am tensing it which I'm not.
Now I've just had another look and my left leg is quite red in colour compared to my normal pastey white right leg.
Gonna see what it is like in the morning & if it's still the same then I am gonna have to try and get to the doctors somehow.

Well leg didn't improve over night. After 2mins of walking I was in absolute agony.
Currently sat in cubicle at A&E waiting for blood test results as they suspect a Dvt,which I obviously hope it isn't.
Left leg is bright red and twice the size of my right leg. Just gotta wait to see what they say once they have blood results.

Thanks Knock.
Am back home now, something in my blood was over a 1000 which they said was high & can indicate Dvt.
They gave me an injection of Fragmin Dalteparin sodium into the fat on my stomach & have given me another 4 syringes to inject myself with, once a day over the next 4 days.
So now I have to wait for hospital to call me to go in for some scan to do a further test to check it is a clot etc.
Just hope these injections will do the job on their own.

I finally got a letter in 2 years later for the Pain Clinic, fingers crossed I can get something that works, DHC 120mgs and Clonazepam are the perfect combo, because it's mostly muscle spasms nerve damage I've got in my back and legs, Currently on 900mg Gabapentin per day and Tramadol ER200mgs per day , wich is shit, the Gabas have helped but I only asked for long acting Tramadol so that I could try and get swapped to long acting DHC from another Dr, bottom line I am in pain 24/7 so I need a ER pain killer and I'll tell him Tramadol gives me weird SSRI side effects wich it does, I am getting them right now, fucking horrible !!

Thanks Knock.

Seriously doubt it is a DVT , if the hospital thought it was they should have MRI scanned u right then because the clot can work loose & go up to yer lungs Or heart & then it's game over .

Well i say that unless you have been doing some FEMoral IVing or long haul flights you didn't mention !

I hope that yer ok as i wouldn't wish a DVT & all the shit that goes with it on anyone .
Best of luck.

No no long haul flights and haven't injected for years and never did it in my groin ever.
Hospital rang this morning to say I've got to go in for ultrasound mri scan I think it was at 2pm and to take the syringes in to make sure I am on the right dose.
Will know more after scan, last night they said my D-dimer blood test was over a 1000 which could indicate a clot.
Will see what happens this afternoon.

ah, didn't see you were already posting in here max and brimz had seen ..

I owe you and a coupla peeps PMs Brimz, will be on it this morning, just gotta clear out my PM box

Had scan today which showed I have got a Dvt as suspected but more worrying is they also found that I also have enlarged lymph nodes inside my abdomen which I wasn't expecting.
Got more syringes to carry on with home injections for my leg.Got to wait for another call sometime to go in for a different scan I think to look at the nodes in my abdomen and on the 13th I have to go in for a blood test and then have a biopsy done on my lymph nodes to try and find out why they are enlarged.
So wasn't expecting that, was just worried about my leg at start of the day.
