the Drum and Bass (DnB) thread

Rhythm for Reasons : The Smokers' rhythm (1994)

I always thought those subtle changes in the time signature from 4/16 to 4/15 for a single 16th then change back were a great little addition.
"they didn't have to do that" :)

Thank u!! Daamn. way more dope that any modern drumfunk i heard. Tbf i usually only hear the first minute of that stuff 😄

Hi mate. Man after my own spirit! Thanks for replying.

Okay. We gonna have to do some sharing of greatness here I think.

This genre was freaking awesome. Otherworldly. Too many people missed it though.

I'm deathly sick with life threatening severe neurological Long Covids and secerest nerve damage so I'm on one burnt out cylinder currently. So limited capability to contribute yet.

But for now, this one too mate. You will know it I feel sure it's another class one of the different nature same era exactly.

There are so many of these I could select I love most of them equally and if you are up for it I will keep them coming here because I've not found a space anywhere where people really totally get how great these tracks or even now they're timeless.

Warpdrive, Actually I never really liked that one except on a very high end stereo towards the end of the track the base line is phenomenal.

I'll b back.

Wouldn't say no to being in hypersleep for 57 years. Then being given 3 questions to ask on waking...then the option to go another 57..eternally ;>
