The Doof Thread

the last fulla flava doof i went to was pretty big, probz 200+ ppl at its peak. wouldnt want it to get much bigger and that and i do worry that the texts will start getting around in larger and larger numbers till those numbers are too large to handle and all sorts of problems start to arise, hopefully people realise this and stop circulating it to too many people. Although im very glad to be introduced to doofs by people very very involved in the scene in perth :)

Yeah i remember back in 2007/2008 before facebook was popular it was hard to find information, we had to rely solely on word of mouth that went around by text messages.. or hope to contact someone on the perthlings forum haha, didn't take too long to develop strong contacts with people in the scene though. Oh well.. times change, everything changes.. not sure if ill make it to the Kenetic party, really broke at the moment and run down.. but regardless it sounds like its going to be a blast. ;)
 
would love a pm about any doofs on the north coast nsw / se qld...yewww

^spraci for some reason that takes me back to like 1998? Were any of you guys ever at any of the EMAS partys?

Tranq if someone were to go to Kinetic for 1 night only would I be right in guessing the Saturday night/Sunday morning would be optimum?

I've been reading a few forums about them, trying to find out some dates or locations but i haven't found anything except madd set-ups & a lot of trippas loving life haha

please tell me theres atleast one more day of the doof after the 8th??? i cn get diorections im just not in the country :( so jelly i cant go to the whole 4 days :(.................please anyone goin to this doof tonight try to find out if theres any upcomming ones.last doof i went to i wasted by snorting oxy and smack in the car ALL night lol

Not that i know of, might be a bit before my time.. i only really got into the scene late 2007.

I wont make it out to kinetic this weekend, seems like most people i know are heading out.. but i'll make up for it at the BOOM Festival in Portugal in a couple of months :)
 
yeh, spraci was a while ago now, pre myspace etc.

boom and burning man would both be madness, enjoy!.
boom this year could have the potential to be massive considering there are heaps of people over there without work and nothing better to do than par tay!

boom was where those red star microdots first made it around in large numbers.
 
FMLwas too fucked to go to the doof so i just went back home n had a lil mini doof pupmed the psych trance n smoked dmt all night with the bloke who looked after my house :D.........any info on any up comming doofs would be great :D PM's please people :) i wont sit in the car all night this time :p
 
Fuckyeahh 2012 solar eclipse tickets purchased :-D
They're getting pricey now..
Even though the lineup has not been announced I know it's going to be better than any festival on the planet (literally).
 
I had the BIGGEST acid flashbacks looking at that damned GIF. It's about that time I head out for some fresh air and the heart-rate spikes haha.

Yep i just bought my flights last night! Picked up the first round tickets which are a bargain for $250!!

SOOO many people complaining about the line up not being announced. They obviously have no idea who is running this event :P Totally agree this will be absolutely insanely HOOOOOOOOGE!
 
Star wars themed party on 1.5 - 2 hours west of sydney this weekend.
I heard the dj booth will be a big r2d2 :)
