Ah shit i ruined my papaver rhoeas i picked earlier. Oven was too hot when i went to dry and they just got stuck to the Oven tray.

Anyone else have any ideas how i can dry Red poppy petals? I was hoping on harvesting as many as i can , drying and storing them in a clipseal jar for throughout the year use.

Not gonna lie if alcohol didn't fuck my bowels up I'd still be on that shit every weekend, always enjoyed getting drunk.

At some point this summer I'll see if I can drink alcohol again, and I won't drink as regularly as I used to.

yeah i've ben queesy as fuck today, weed took care of it though... honestly alcohol hangovers are the worst and it's not worth it tbh

i would always down a pint of water when i got home, then in the morning drink some orange juice and take a multivitamin. also bacon sarnie.

Someone please tell me how to dry these petals lol, i really want a big jar of petals, im gonna spend 2 days picking them

Thats what they look like. I just wondered if there was a way i could dry many petals at once. I want to pick like an OZ worth. They need to be as dry as tea leaves .

The tea i make out of it is a mild sedative, muscle relaxant and a mild pain reliever.
Its basically mild opiates.

Rhoeadine is also a MAOI i believe.

And no this isnt Drug Discussion. Papaver Rhoeas is herbal, not like its opium relative, the Somniferum.

Leave them out in the sun for a few days, with weed people usually it by the stalk upside down on a clothes line or something of the sort. After that you might want to put it in the oven at the lowest possible temp, like 125 degrees Fahrenheit, IDK what that is in Celsius lol... but just put it in for like 5-10 mins to get it a bit crispier.

The only way I could think of is a cookie sheet and an oven on a super-low temperature over hours. If you don't want them to stick, parchment paper (NOT wax paper). It's coated with silicone, so it's heat resistant and completely non-stick. Or, you can get those silicone sheets at Target that are reusable. Gives you a million more excuses to bake cookies. :D

As a person who has injured themselves more times with cooking appliances than with anything else on this planet, I'm cautious as fuck. There are plenty of stories involving potatoes that ended up in literal flames, and that's saying something.

The low temp should prevent the moisture from the petals/herbs/etc from boiling and leaking out underneath, causing them to stick. Also should prevent things from cooking instead of just drying. But parchment paper is a good insurance to have for any sort of project. Just make sure it's not wax, because then your tea will taste like candles and say goodbye to your cookie sheets.

I've seen worse lol. I can sympathize with the guy... seems like he is in a massive thought loop considering hes saying "excactly" over and over again lol.
