I got a california med card and I smoke anywhere in state, even while driving... obviously not at schools or places u can't smoke regular cigs... one time I had a butthole cop write me a ticket he said "my license looked fake"... judge said it looked fine to him... charges dropped, although the police never gave me back my half ounce of pot.. I grow pounds tho so it isn't much loss lol :)

With all this talk about good marijuana products becoming legalized recreationally, I think I should be making a visit to the US soon then. ;)

Yeah if they open up anything similar to coffee shops i'm going to go live in the US for a bit (which i planned on doing anyway)

I know a few people who moved a long ago. But not sure if they like it, much corruption I believe. But corruptiom will be much anywhere you go I guess. :/

Corruption is everywhere.

I've visited America and it's nice, don't know what it'd be like to live there though. Some American accents can get on your tits.

Worst part about America is false-niceness. If I go into a shop I'm fine with someone asking me if I need any help, but I don't want some cunt coming up to me and pretending to care about my day and acting like he's my best friend. Bit of casual friendliness is perfect but it seems to get taken too far over there. (talking mostly about customer service haven't got much experience dealing with the general American public).

Yes, I'm sure there are plenty of people who like those false kindness. I'm sure there are loads of poor saps out there with no friends who need that kindness to get them through their days. Lol, Shit I like when people get nice to me and what not but you drive a goode point, some people take this too far, and I've found some people even that do this even here that create rather an annoyance.

That's why it's nice to be a bastard every once and a while. ;) Honesty is a key to many things my friend.

I hate the pseudo-smiles thing my self. When I go inside a store and I wan't to buy a shirt or some slacks I don't need you to follow me around asking me if everything is okay. Your a minimum wage salesman/woman not a shrink.

here in the US they study everything...there was a study done that says people spend more money when they get that "overly kind" service so now you can't go in somewhere without some store employee riding your nuts like that (its not really that bad but enough that it gets on your nerves sometimes) It hs gotten to the point that workers are trained to do it and if they don't the are punished. it sucks but it is how it is here. If a study came out that said people bought more stuff from vendors that could stand on their heads, the only people that could get a job would be circus preformers.

I don't know about you but I'd definitely buy more stuff from someone could stand on their heads. :)

Start training circus preformers to be salesman and you have my money €€€

how hard is it to say "i'll find you if i need help but i'm just browsing for now, thanks"?

not taking responsibility for your own experience is pretty annoying too...

:\

First thing that comes to mind.

I was waiting on a ferry in Holyhead I tried to order a cup of tea, I had no idea what the lady was telling me. Out of all the cities and countries I visited I had hardest time communicating with Brits & the Irish.

Fucking hell, i was sitting there worried about my rolling schedule but the danger came from somewhere else entirely unexpected. SCABIES. that chick gave me bugs. argh itchy :/

Probably because people feel pressured to when they have some crazy nice guy being overly nice to them.

Whenever I've worked in retail I've just been casual and helpful with everyone but not given a shit if they buy anything, because I don't care how much money the massive company makes I care more about just helping people out when they need me to. But yeah I can understand the pressure that might be put on them and I figured that's what it was most of the time.
