i only had a script for it cause i specifically asked for it after trying 2 other RX drugs and melatonin.
and beware...it is STRONG shit.
recreationally IMO its king of the benzos (but i have yet to try xanax or valium)

Hmm...depends. Have the sugar cubes been wrapped in tinfoil? I'm not sure if the sugar will have a reaction with it or anything, but normally (at least in the case of blotters) if LSD is kept in a relatively dark and cool place, it doesn't degrade easily...so you might be okay. :)

I dunno. Definitely going to have to talk long and hard with my doctor about it. I'm on Zolpidem now because nothing else worked for me (seroquel, melatonin, other OTC remedies, even diet and exercise did nothing). But my insomnia is super bad and hasn't improved - I need the Zolpidem to get me to sleep. BUT! I really don't want to increase my risk of developing cancer because it's already shown up in my family sometimes; my chances are already higher because of that. ><

So maybe asking for it by name will help. I dunno...I'm also nervous about the chance of addiction and all, but...cancer! I don't want that. Augh.
 
Well its not exactly a good idea to take benzodiazepines every day, because you will eventually become addicted and need to taper off.
honestly...temazepam i only got because i asked for it, because i wanted to abuse it. it works extremely well, but is not to be trifled with...its one of the most toxic benzos, one of the easiest to overdose on (i would know, because i did "overdose" on temazepam) and also one of the fastest absorbing benzos.
I wouldnt be all THAT surprised if you got it, but i got it after being on a different benzo that did not work, I'd doubt they would go from ambien to one of the benzo heavyweights (pun partially intended...)
I'd bet you'd get ativan or something before they'd give you temazepam
 
Ah, see, I was researching Temazepam because it was recommended by another bluelighter as an alternative to Zolpidem. I definitely don't want it to abuse, so thanks for the suggestion of Ativan - I'll read up about it, too. I don't think I'm a bit fan of the sedative/opiate/depressant drugs, so I'm really only looking for something to help with my insomnia that won't put me at a higher risk for cancer. Unfortunately I've admitted to my doctor that I like MDMA so she might assume I'm willing to use/abuse anything. -_-

It's a little tougher to find things that work for me, though, as I have to be careful due to also being bipolar and there are so many medicines said to aggravate that disorder. *sigh* Stupid Zolpidem, why can't it not have that risk so that I can keep taking it??
 
Honestly i wouldnt stop taking something that works just because it might be slightly carcinogenic
but then again i smoke cigarettes.

Far from the king of benzos. Xanax is 10X better. Not to mention Phenzepam is the strongest benzo known to man, but you're likely never to even get to try that stuff.:D

You ever try temazepam? At least in every other country/continent, temazepam is the most abused benzo/responsible for most doctor shopping/RX fraud out of all the other benzos...
You DO know that they dont make less than 15mg temazepams right?
read the wiki on temazepam, then tell me xanax is 10x better

It could be just that I'm being overly paranoid at the moment. ^^;;

And how do benzos even make a person feel? All I know is that they can be highly addictive and that makes me wary of them, but is it actually worth it to feel however they make you?

i can pop 2mg of klonopin and be less impaired/fucked up than i would be from a 30mg temazepam
30mg temazepam put me TO SLEEP with 80mg of amphetamines in me, WHILE i was high.
as in, i dosed the amphetamines after the temazepam and i was out like a light....
i'm not about to start getting into an argument about this, cause its a rather stupid topic to argue about, but medical literature begs to differ with your opinion of temazepam not being a good benzo

Cause MG for MG triazolam has all of those benzos beat.
Muffin, benzos IME are very similar to alcohol. They dont necessarily make you feel "good"...they just mellow you out/get rid of anxiety.
I only really like benzos when i'm coming down on stimulants/amphetamines...benzos arent "euphoric" drugs like stimulants or opiates...

IME no. You'll most likely really enjoy them and having a script you'll probably abuse them considering doctors usually advise you to take a lower amount than what would get you high. At first you may not abuse it but having pills at your disposal at all time can be a very dangerous thing. I had been hooked on benzos since 17 and Xanax was my favorite, like it is most people's. I was prescribed klonopin first and would always end up just mixing it with Xanax I bought on the "street" because I didn't get very high from it. I would NOT recommend getting xanax. Benzos are obviously designed to reduce anxiety, but usually reduce it to the point where it is non-existant. To a person with real anxiety this could be very dangerous. I would recommend trying to get valium for its long half life and lower abuse potential or maybe Ativan.
 
Telling somebody what to tell a doctor if they actually have real anxiety shouldn't be disallowed man. If they need benzos they need benzos. A lot of people go into the doctor not knowing what to say and the doctor ends up putting them on anti-depressants. This poster has made it apparent that he/she has real anxiety, I didn't, but they do.

BTW muffin, apparently temazepam is one of the most addictive benzodiazepines.......
so i'd honestly not go running for it unless other benzos dont work
temazepam is also by far one of the most toxic/easiest to die from with regards to benzos..
 
Yea... benzos absolutely make you feel good or else people wouldn't be addicted to them. Maybe you didn't feel good from temezapam because all its supposed to do is calm you down or put you to sleep. Get your facts straight bro. Xanax can produce a euphoric effect at high doses.
 
You can't die from benzos alone! It is nearly impossible to OD on benzos unless mixed with alcohol or other drugs. C'mon dude. Sorry I don't wanna argue either I'm done saying anything, my bad.
 
I'm quite aware of that, thats why i didnt die when i had 20 temazepam 30s in me....
Its still considered an "overdose" or at least the diagnosis of what happened to me was temazepam overdose....
I'm not saying temazepam didnt make me feel good...it is the ONLY benzo that i actually LIKE..

I'm not saying xanax is bad...i'm just saying at least in most other areas of the world, temazepam is the most highly regarded of the benzos, and medical literature also says that temazepam is among the strongest (in effects) benzos and temazepam apparently acts more like barbiturates than any other benzo..
I'd try xanax if given the chance, I'm just saying I'm betting it hasn't got shit on temazepam
 
Actually, the Wiki article claims it is possible to OD on Temazepam due to its sedative effects...which I wouldn't doubt. It might take a very high dose to do so, but it's also probably not impossible alone.

Also, I do have some issues with anxiety, but I would be taking Temazepam (if I even get it - I'm definitely leaning towards something less addictive and intense if possible, thanks to the warnings) for help with insomnia as an alternative to the Zolpidem I have now. I'm really not sure at the moment if I will be requesting a change or not...all of this is going to have to take some more thought and research before I make a decision, but all of y'all's input is GREATLY appreciated. :)

However, let's talk about something more fun than my medicinal woes!! Like...what is everyone up to tonight? I might be making a run to the store to gather supplies for research soon. Not sure yet, though... ^^;;
