^Also the "lots of speed" part probably wouldnt help. That said whatever it was that bought on the psychotic episode smoking weed isnt going to make it any better. I'm pretty sure that one of the negative impacts of cannabis use that has been shown consistently in the research is an exacerbation of psychotic symptoms.

Also I forgot about BC. That would probably be just as interesting a place to visit even without the weed. Not sure if they have a coffee shop scene but I have heard that there is quality black market weed for sure and I think it is decriminalised.

I've mixed similar amounts of the same substances before without any psychotic episodes resulting from the experience. I'm no mental health specialist but I do believe that my years of ganja smoking definitely made me more prone to such episodes.

I dont really know either but it could be a combination of the drugs as well as a other factors in your life. I think genetics is one of the biggest risk factors but after that drugs and lifestyle are two that are rated high on the list. The trigger could be drugs, stress or some other event. I'm no specialist either...

One thing that seems clear is that smoking weed isnt working for you.

Are you going for the Cup? Nov 18-22

I am going a couple of months earlier than that, but funds permitting I hopefully will still be in Europe around that time (doubtful lol), either way I am just glad that I will get to experience it before new laws come in and potentially fuck it up.

I have always wondered what the go is with people visiting California, I am sure if you hurt yourself you can get a script for Vicadin or something so it wouldn't be that consistent if you weren't allowed a cannabis prescription, but that obviously doesn't mean it wouldn't be the case.

I am pretty sure you need a Californian drivers license, or some other proof of residency in California (social security card?).

I've been trying to find an answer to this and looks like you have to live there to get a member ship card for the clubs. So if you have a residential address and can prove that you live there you maybe able to get membership without being a citizen but I'm not %100 percent on that.

This thread just reminded me of the home delivery service I heard about in New York. One of my friends was there a few years back and you just dial up and they bring it to your apartment he was saying it was some of the strongest weed he's had. I'm sure they only give out the numbers to trusted customers though I dont think it's decriminalised there...

An interesting article on the subject

Is that like dial a dealer? There were a lot of articles on it from Australia too saying that you can get cocaine or weed delivered faster than a pizza LOL I have a few friends who are living in America, not sure how easy it is to get the license but Im fairly certain youd need to be a US citizen with a medical problem, one mate is taking it for arthritis in his shoulder which helps ease the pain especially in the cold weather.

Its really great to see how the US government is allowing all of this and allowing to replace all those dangerous prescription drugs mainly opiates. I still dont understand why its not legal here, It doesnt phase me if I couldnt use it legally but the poor sufferers would have such a better quality of life. Its ok to use opiates legally but not weed? I mean come on. I think within the next 100 years itll be available for prescription and legal or patients. We are already discussing the fail war on drugs, Im sure itll lead somewhere.

as I mentioned, I wish they could have gotten another week or two but due to the heavy rains, they had to be pulled (and more than half the finial product had already gone :( )

Nice pics pisspot! I was starting to wonder if you were going to put them up.

Nice to see another state alloweing medical MJ, thanks for posting budlightyear.

I'm no expert, but the leaves yellowing - is that a deficiency of some kind? Or is that just what they do when they flower? Excuse my ignorance, I'd rather see a plant with white chunks growing. Poppies don't really do it for me, I'd love both a money tree and a diacetylmorphine tree, but I think I'm dreaming there.

^I think that both things are right. I think it is lack of nitrogen and often during the late stages of flowering the leaves go yellow due to more nutrients being directed to the flowers, whether thats due to the fertiliser the grower is putting on targeting flower production or the plant naturally redistributing its resources or both I dont know.

Yeah its usually a sign of nutrient deficiency or burning of the leaves by adding too much nutrients. Usually the tips go yellow.

justsayknow's on the money.. they were yellowing due to a lack of nitrogen (as I said, liquid seasol was being used as a fertilizer and it contains quite literally no nitrogen so it pretty shit for the whole vegetation stage but awsome when flowering) and being so late in the flowering stage..

EDIT: those photos were taken a day before they were pulled.. or was it the same day? I cant remember lol also forgot to say thanks to fieldy + D_M for the compliments on the sativa :)

Just had a look at the pics. If I had to guess I'd say it's some sort of nutrient burn. how were you applying your nutrients pisspot ? forliar spray ? Looks like you got a couple of nice little power plants there regardless of any problems :)

I'll try get a worthy camera and put up some pictures of my bud from this season. Unfortunately no photos of the plants (which were fucking beautiful, hurt to cut them down ;( ) but I'll try post some of the better heads. The rain did wonders this season, bless mother earth and her bounfitul fruits <3

Yellowing shade/fan leaves is usual at the end of the cycle. Plants put all their energy into floral production and no longer need vegetative leaves for bulking-up. Enough energy is generated by leaves subtending the buds. Pics seem to show a bit of nutrient burn on the tips of older leaves but otherwise your ladies look like they'll have some grunt. Being a bit pernickety I like to remove bigger leaves once they've done their job and start to pale off. Let's a bit more light through to the buds as well. Enjoy.

the liquid seasol was applied directly to the base of the stem (and over the foilage during the short vegetation period they had).. be great if ya could get some flicks of your finial product :)

ps. fuck the rain :p

you are right about the nutrient burn to the tips.. I think it was about mid flowing when I gave it a good blast and consequently, burnt a few of the tips but nothing serious...

I'm the exact same with the whole trimming of dying leaves.. trust me, I got rid of several during the mid-late stages of flowing to give a bit more light to the lower branches but luckily, due to the plants positioning with the sun, every single branch copped plenty of light during their short lifetime :) the yellowing shade leaves in the photos only started paling in the last ~week before they were pulled.. in actual fact, I was gonna trim all those yellow leaves off that day the photos were takin but (as I previously mentioned) we had a full week of heavy rains so I had to pull em that day n they missed out on that extra week or so to get a bit more light n fatten up :(

A lot of new growers don't realize that by adding too much nutrients it can cause just as much if not more harm than not adding any. People tend to go ape with the nutes thinking the more thats added the more faster, bigger and better itll grow. I suppose most people learn the hard way.
