november. another 6 weeks or so.
oh mate, i feel like a whinging kid, but ... you know what... i never get sick during winter. sometimes i get a bit of a sore throat or sniffles but nothing serious. while they've been away, i got proper flu attack twice! some might say lucky he wasn't around to get it from me, but others might think would i have gotten sick if i were with my family.... hmmm... i really don't know.

My sister died when she was 3 days old and I have heard the same about her in Catholic school. It has also made me stay away from any organized religion, ever since. Such a horrible thing to say. An innocent baby going to hell for not having water splashed over her head. Stupid and ridiculous but also a very evil thing to say. I have heard it from nuns and priests and very religious people. Do these people even give thought to what they are saying?
 
^ well yeah, that's what their religion teaches. actually they're sorta incorrect because I think unbaptized babies are supposed to go to purgatory, not really hell. but either way, yeah that's what they believe. I don't know why someone would say that without being asked about it though, that is pretty shitty.

L2R, sorry to hear that. I can't prove it, but I think your emotional state definitely affects your health. Sleep, immune function, ability to absorb nutrients...all affected by your mental state. You might want to try olive leaf extract. It interferes with viruses' ability to reproduce. It works wonders, really! I haven't been sick since I started taking it 6 months ago, and I've been exposed to lots of germs and sick people.

the waiting is the hardest part. at least i stopped taking gingko a few weeks back, that time dilation was torturous.
 
aww lefty, i didn't realize you were separated from him. he is sooo beautiful, i am so sorry, i can't imagine having to be away from my baby :( it is bad enough i will have to go back to work when this one is 3 months old, i never had to work before, but can't leave my job. not looking forward to that.

And weeeeeeee! I just found out that my oldest sister is pregnant again!! So exciting! I really hope it's a little girl because I already have 3 little nephews. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my nephews, they are the best. But we need some more girls in the family :)

I'm not on your fb, but I would imagine that anything worse than long term separation from your family has to be grim indeed. Big hug and prayers for peace and health, Lefty.

we won't know for a while if this will be a boy or girl. i can tell you that if it's my little girl, her name will be olivia <3
not sure what to name the little guy if it turns out to be a boy. you can be sure that one of us will pop in here to tell you guys when we know!

lefty, sorry you're going through all that :( i hope it all turns around for you, STAT! <3 <3 (your little fella is adorable)
 
although one of my less pleasant exes has it, i think olivia is a gorgeous name
 
i love the name olivia, i always said that would be my little girls name, but alas, i now have a good friend named olivia, and she is one of the butchiest blackest chicks i know, so the name has been ruined for me. :D i think it will now either be a mia or a max. maximillion actually, we love how obnoxious the long version is.
 
in summary, on top of the three torturous months, i now need to wait another five to six weeks to see felix again, and even then in order to i am required to fly to china for 8-10 weeks then bring them both back. there goes our entire summer and his first xmas.

i guess kharma considers felix so bloody good that we aren't allowed any other good things. o_0
 
Oh, Lefty, that sucks more ass than anything in the history of ass sucking! No way around it at all? I cannot imagine the emotional torture you must be going through! I would be WRECKED in your position! You're in my thoughts, mate. I hope you can get to China and your family for the holiday.
