GANG crime squad detectives investigating Monday's bikie shooting have charged two men after yesterday raiding a Joondalup hotel room.
The police raid followed the shooting of two men, including former Gypsy Jokers bikie gang president Lennard Kirby, at a Jandakot property at 4.20pm on Monday.
A 24-year-old Tapping man was charged with possessing an unlicensed firearm and possessing unlicensed ammunition.
He will appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court today.
A 29-year-old man, also from Tapping, remains in hospital after being treated for gunshot wounds. He has been charged with breaching bail and a bedside court hearing will be held at a later date.
Three others were questioned by police after yesterday's hotel raid but have not been charged.
Kirby, recently released from prison on parole after serving seven years for drug trafficking, was shot three times in the chest.
An associate, Alexandro Scilio, was shot in the arm.
Both are recovering under police guard in hospital.
A blue Subaru Impreza sedan which was seen leaving the shooting scene has been located, police said.
Inquiries into the shooting are continuing.
