The Big & Dandy Solo Trip Thread

i love to trip alone.. i think i should say once again that it's important to think a little in advance and keep out of public.. one time i was tripping intensely - alone in the woods near my house and i began to lose control as it got dark and i didn't know what to do.. i ended up running into a nearby supermarket yelling about the end of the world and climbing up a huge stack of dog food bags.. the cops came and took me to the ground - then to the hospital.. no charges - just an embarrasing night face down, handcuffed in the hospital till my mom came and got me.. stay out of public to trip!! ;-)
 
Egor: Do you not trip at all around other people? Only solo? Do you feel there is not much to gain tripping with other people?

The reason I ask is because I am wondering whether there is much to gain for me personally right now. Obviously there is a tremendous amount to gain from spending time with other people, but I am becoming more and more sensitive to psychedelics as time goes on they almost always completely incapacitate me socially and even physically. I'm now wondering whether it would be more useful to just remain sober and alert around friends instead of taking psychs with them.

Your thoughts on this?
 
I used to trip alone on P. semilceanta quite frequently and enjoyed it immensely. LSD however I preferred company. I believe this is because mushrooms is a more internal experience (at a reasonable dose ) whereas acid is usually more external (comparatively) I think I explained that completely wrongly, ah well ! No worries.
 
For me, LSD makes social interaction extremely difficult. I can't speak - all of my sentences seem to trail on and on and lead nowhere. Misunderstandings are also very frequent, and can create a good amount of anxiety. Whenever I group trip, I find that I normally end up just laughing endlessly to myself in silence.

It is entirely dependant on what I am trying to get from the trip. If I want a deep, introspective experience, solo is the only way to go. Other people can be very distracting. If I want a laugh my ass of recreational trip, I have a set group that has been exploring the other lands with me for years.
I have encountered the contact buzz on numerous occasions where there are people tripping on a substance I am very familiar with, particularly 2c-e, I smoke a few bowls and I am getting visuals. I have also been the only tripper in a group, without most of the others knowing(which can be nerve wracking, but I digress) and had people commenting on feeling weird, and having no idea why. I would give the solo sober person with the group of trippers a try and see how it goes, cant hurt to give it a shot:\
 
Solo Trip

Okay so today I'm going to do a solo trip I plan on ingesting 5 hits of 110 microdot blotter paper.
I t always seems to be the perfect dose for me.
Any suggestions of what to do today.
I'm planing on eating them in about 4 hours.

I've done solo trips before i find them quite interesting.

help me out i'm open for suggestions.

550ug LSD - "quite" interesting - no wonder you're looking for tips on how to spice up a mild trip ;)
 
Yes, I suggest bringing some sort of interstellar encryption device so that you can safely transport the secrets of life back to this realm without anyone stealing them from you, and taking your dream away. To write a book.

550 ug is a medium trip for me ive done 1.3 mg before

but ive came to the conclusion that 550 ug is perfect for a solo trip at least for me.

Ah. This explains why 4HO-Mipt + LSD only gave you some transient, colourful but nice, visuals and sounds.

I am glad to announce that I've had perfectly world-shattering experiences with less than 200ug. I don't understand why people feel that wasting LSD is somehow cool.

To the OP: If you're "open for suggestions", I suggest taking less and saving some for another time. Better still, you can even take less than that by administering it rectally.
 
Well I'd would put some quality IDM music in the mix. Maybe some Aphex Twin, Autechre, Bola, etc. Or just something that has some complexity to it. For me that really helps expand my thought process and the visuals.

If you have hot tub I'd say go in it.

Its a great way to trip while you munch cid.

So you're calling, calling music a specific genre dumb and yet you're pulling out some other genres? Alright, that makes sense.

I do agree with having some downtempo in there, but you can place alot of downtempo in IDM. For example Boards of Canada and Mum.
