I can usally agree with you pete but this doesnt make any sense.


Were not all a bunch on internet junkies who sit behind comps and talk about a reasearch chemical, some of us are people with large social circles including people we touch and see on a daily bases. NonE of them understand mxe, methoxetamine, research chemicals let alone bluelight, a forum, a post, a moderator so without a doubt whatever term they hear they would never know what it is. And the large majority would never look into it if they did consumed & enjoyed so its not like the popularity will boom anyways. Only drug forum posters will ever understand it. to keep the convo with those who dont understand short, whatever one wants to call the drug should not be an issue imo.
Can you give one good reason why the drug should be called methoxetamine or mxe in every possible senario?


Im not trying to argue opinions because thats just absurd but i see yours, please take mine for whatever you like :)

Yeah I'm starting to come round to this viewpoint tbh. I assumed that people might introduce MXE to someone without filling them in properly and leave them to their own devices.

But realistically, if we have any care for our friends' safety, we'd fill them in properly and take it with them, leading by example. That's what I did with my friends, and nothing ever got out of hand.

It's up in the air as to how many typical drug users will jump on the MXE bandwagon. The lack of media coverage means that a lot of people don't know it exists at all, and using it in tight social circles isn't going to cause it to take off overnight either.

So yeah you're right, it doesn't matter what it's called amongst your friends. I just meant that if a catchy street name became established, and methoxetamine took off, people new to the drug might not treat it with the respect it deserves.

If you were to just promote MXE as 'Ox, a new and exciting way to get munted!' then that'd be a pretty dangerous bending of the truth. There are thousands of people who would do a fat line if it was presented to them as 'a good time'. Calling it methoxetamine would at least cause most people to inquire further.

Though I bet a lot of people would also think 'Methoxetamine...that sounds like ketamine! Let's treat it like ketamine because it must be similar'...

Exactly! It was just a simple misunderstanding, no issue whatsoever. U felt we were trying to "bath salts" it and make up a name for the purpose of marketing. HELL NO we are against that as much as you, bud :)

A name for easy and less long winded reference will never effect safety and responsibility.

I agree with all the sentiments expresses in prior posts, i.e., people who won't research what they take and are fickle enough to worry about the name don't deserve to try it anyway.
However methoxetamine is a very 'hard' English word comprised of phonemes: 'meth', 'ox', and 'etamine.' All of those little bits that people analyze when you say the word are very connotative of things that don't really describe the imo more gentle nature of MXE.

Now MXE is really easy to go about saying in written or online, typed conversation, though saying it is nearly as much as a mouthful as methoxetamine.

Not to mention that not a single person I've met can remember the chemical name of the stuff; they just ask if I've got any of 'that' stuff or that mail order stuff.

I'd be plagiarizing to say it was my invention, but i read of the name Mink in other forums. I like it. It is a connotative match, gentle to say, easy to type and remember--and it's an english analogue of the chemical changes to Ketamine a la min'K'

Over-analysis, possibly--just an approach using linguistics, english language nuances and cognitive psychology.

Peyote, psylocibe mushrooms and ayahuasca are known as “plant teachers” –I would say that methoxetamine is a “powder teacher”

Or, if DMT is the “spirit molecule”, MXE is the “teacher molecule”
 
Finally got around to trying this.

25 mg oral in gelcap. I had eaten about 90 minutes earlier and probably should have waited longer. At T+2:30 I wasn't feeling much and took another 12 mg sublingual... I think it all ended up hitting me eventually, though.

I added some cannabis to deal with an upset stomach -- possibly from the drug, possibly from the spicy food -- and it got intense. It was the strangest, most paradoxical trip I've had. It was like no substance I've tried before, and a little like all of them. I was sedated and stimulated, stoned and manic, clear-headed and delusional. I was really chatty, talking a mile a minute -- but only in my head, and I could barely get any of it out into words.

I'd hardly even call it a dissociative: I was a little numb and stumbly and the guy in the mirror didn't quite feel like me, but I was nowhere near as detached from my body as on the tiletamine (or whatever it was I had before).

Yea i did this research last night and you are right. Theres no shrink and orgasm can be achieved. +1 for mxe.
 
The only way I can describe this beastly molecule is "the keys to the castle". That is it...I said it 5 billion times yesterday, but it makes sense.

The sex feels primal. It makes me want to pull hair and experiment with different positions. At the same time I feel extremely connected to my gf and she feels the same. Almost like a contact high I guess.
It's so great to cum at the same time :)
