I've had it from a few different sources. It's varied in consistency but that doesn't mean anything. It's varied in subjective experience widely, but that happens taking from the same exact batch/bag, too. MXE has bizarre and powerful effects on the ego, and its experience is potentially as varied as our egos are.

I'm not saying there absolutely arene't tiletamine or PCP analogs being sold as MXE, or that street dealers aren't using active cuts (can't know/it's not implausible). I just know that assuming a difference in subjective effect owes to different physical properties of tangible external products (that is, the powder itself) rather than owing to changes in the invisible reaches of our subconscious is a reassuring heuristic we use to feel like we have more control over our experiences than we do ("My experience felt off, so that vendor therefore sells bunk. I can ensure I have a "good" experience by going back to the old vendor that sold the "pure/good" stuff"). The fact that, to my knowledge, no actual analysis has revealed chemical substitutions makes me think the majority of these observations of differences owe to natural variance in users between tripping sessions.

Yea that's kinda my feelings as well... mxe experiences from the same bag can vary widely so idk lol... I think tolerance as well as familiarity also play a big part that's hard to measure... I'm sure that there are people adulturating mxe but I don't think any of the "legit" sources are doing this... but that's just a guess based on allthe samples sent in were clean and all my samples have been more or less consistent in effects for a daily user at that time...
 
Im finding the uplifting motivating afterglow high alluring, prefer it to the actual effects of the stuff, but ive noticed it usually wears off within a week and then i want it back. i guess it could end up being addicting, not going to abuse it though. keep a routine of light doseage once a week or something as i have been doing, kept the same dose for months now. tolerance doesnt seem to be building by much, if at all
 
Tolerance is becoming a pain for me. I've gotten into the habit of sniffing constant bumps, and over time the duration and intensity of effects has become blunted. I think when I run out of my current stash I'm just going to leave MXE alone for the immediate future. I do love its introvert and introspective character but in the past week it's all getting a little too samey.
 
yeah i notice the "blunted-ness" if i use it 2 nights in a row, the second night seems kinda sterile, lacking and pointless
 
I second you on that one coltdan.I can have the most fantastical experience one night and then the next it`s kinda gruelling ans uncomfortable,more like a task instead of a pleasure.
 
Just ordered a couple grams myself! I've been having difficultly locating K for quite a while and love how inexpensive this stuff is. Looking forward to introducing others and trying it for myself :D
 
Methoxetamine dosages (psychedelic or otherwise)

Well I have some MXE on the way as one of my friends highly recommended it. I have heard that it is active and rather intense in small dosages (10-15 mg). My friend was adamant in saying so start with 20 mg and then take half of that! Another very experienced K user friend was FLOORED by 20 mg of MXE. I"m just curious what I should be looking at for a fun, comfortable, and yet definitely "out there" experience? I have heard of people taking 70-100 mg and am amazed by after what I"ve heard from friends. What is the dosage point where this chemical gets psychedelic for you?

(Perhaps this belongs in other drugs. If so, I apologize)

I find at ~5mg it works as a nice subtle stimulant, at 10-15mg it's a nice body high, pleasant feelings of contentedness and bliss, 20-25mg is where the dissociative elements start kicking in but rather mildly, then 30mg+ it starts to become full dissociation. Although I have a lot of amnesia from that night.. I had my first "M hole" at the weekend and I believe the final dose was around 70-80mg.

This is a strong one, tread carefully.

(Doses are oral and sublingual btw. I personally find insufflation not to be worth it, seems I need a higher dose for the same effect)

Honestly when I tried mxe first I did 120mg spaced out in one session up the nose. It was both fun and comfortable, and pretty damn intense.

After roughly 1.5 years of experimenting with stimulants (and some major fuck-ups, damn you mephedrone ;D) and not taking any major hallucinogenic I'm about to try out MXE. I'm familiar with a great variety of drugs from most categories (luckily I've mostly stayed away from opiates) and consider myself experienced. My experience with Dissociatives include mid to high dose DXM trips, low dose Ketamine and 2 (not nearly enough!) Salvia 20x extract trips. It's not that much but it was sufficient to show me that I'm definitely one of those dissociative-loving persons. :D

I have one question: Does anyone have experience how the body weight affects the required dosage? Unfortunately I'm quite overweight and this tends to affect the dosage very much (for most drugs). For example 3g of cubensis shrooms produce a good yet easily manageable trip, 5g a strong yet still not overwhelming experience. With DXM my standard dosage was 600mg which lead to a upper 2nd plateau trip.

Hi I'm a writer doing a piece on mexy and would be so so grateful if someone could talk me through their experience (would all be anonymous- although if you could tell me age/location that would be great). Is it increasingly popular? How does it compare to ket? Is it cheaper? Would you use it instead of ket regularly? Thanks so much.
 
Would it be safe to eat some vallium after having a 20mg dose for the first time, not straight away but 3-4 hours in to sleep?
 
from my experience they mix very well, i recommend it. The combo seems safe at any point in the trip as long as you dont over do it
 
Well I decided to take some vallium anyway because I wanted to test the potency of a new batch ive recived what do you think about taking it after vallies? make it a smooth ride? still keeping to 15-20mgs
 
yeah i prefer to do MXE after valium, very smooth ride, combines so well. kinda slow euphoric and noddy, "feels like christmas as a child" is the way i felt the first time i mixed that combo right, and takes some confusion away etc. all depends on dose, but recommended combo. used to drink alcohol to start off with, that combo was shit, but valium + MXE is a winner.

for me with not much tolerance: 10mg of Valium + 20mg of MXE is nice. then i take the same dose again of each a few hours later. worth a try
 
So last night I started with an initial dose of 25mg last night, and added another 25mg to a glass of water which I sipped over the next hour. This caused what I can only describe as a psychotic episode. I was at times euphoric, then I'd quickly crash into dysphoria then back again. At times I was incredibly stimulated and manic at other times completely couch locked.

I produced pages and pages of ramblings nore insane than anything I would've thought myself capable of.

It was an all around ugly experience and I remember being terrified that I would be stuck that way. The long normally pleasant afterglow was filled with dysphoria.
 
So...I finished my first MXE trip. (well I'm finishing at the moment to be exact :D)

Overall very positive experience, very strange but nice combination of a strong dissociative trip and a clear head.
Started with ~30 mg sublingual, added 10-20 mg after 10 minutes (because I intented to have a slightly higher first dose but messed up the sublingual part) and ~40 mg after 70 minutes.

There's maybe more to come tomorrow if I find more things worthwhile in the trip log.

Now let's see how one does sleep in this state;)
