The Big & Dandy Methoxetamine Thread - 2nd Dissociation

I have to tell you. I drank some Reisling wine to calm the mania of MXE and then did constant lines while laying at the pool in the hot sun with my headphones on with my vocal trance music. There were people at the pool but I couldn't tell you who. They just were glossed over and blendid in with the surroundings. The hot sun felt so good and there were awesome colors/visuals with my eyes shut with sunglasses on. Awesome!

Hey guys, my girlfriend is on fluoxetine (Prozac) an SSRI and I want to try MXE with her. Is there any contradictory effects with MXE and SSRI's? Any first hand experience?

Well ketamine can come as a liquid, as crystals or as powder. Methoxetamine can only be bought in powder form, so if your ketamine comes as a powder then it would follow that it may be cut with methoxetamine.

You would know as soon as you took it whether it had MXE in it. The longer come up, different headspace, longer duration would ring alarm bells.

Also, you can actually get to the kitchen on mxe, unlike on K... Well, I got to the kitchen, holding tightly to the walls the whole way, but I never got back to the lounge (or so it seemed). Mxe is a little like that, when you up the dosing but not like K, certainly not in small doses. I wouldnt wanna guess how the two might work together! eeek!

i'm very excited to try this one! very soon it'll be, in a week or two after my finals, as in nice gift to myself.

without merely for the purpose of justifying its use, can anybody chime in on any real therapeutic-value? (by this, i mean getting you one or more steps closer to outgrowing fears, feeling more joy inside, etc, in a long-term non-dependence sense.)

I have often found that my MXE experiences put me more in touch with my feelings and bring me closer to people. I've had some communication breakthroughs on this substance that I typically associate with MDMA. I don't know if I would consider my use therapeutic, but it has definitely had some very positive effects!

I would enjoy elaborating some on this, when I am not as tired.

Yeah, I agree it's definitetly got some empathic effects, which quite surprised & pleased me. I also find mxe a far more psychedelic experience compared to actual Ket... This is a facinating compound!

I have to agree with the empathy noted, albeit my communication skills are beyond dismal while on MXE.

With regards to the Empathy, I remember when the Egypt protests had just broken into full scale, I was watching it unfold and was almost brought to tears due to pure empathy for the people involved in the protest, wishing there was something I could do to help - it definitely leaves you feeling in touch with everyone's emotions.

By all means, this is an absolutely wonderful, quality chemical when compared to previously popular research chemicals - it doesn't feel messy at all, nor does it feel dangerous. Even at high doses I've felt zero anxiety, and enjoy the ride right to the end, thereafter I have no chemical residue feelings and instead just feel great.

There have been times when it reminds me of Salvia, but not as scary and unpleasant, more in the way of "holy crap, I don't recognize anything around me, but I feel great".

That said, I do have to admit that I've occasionally gotten a nasty headache after being high for over 8+ hours on the stuff, but it disappears very fast, especially if you don't focus on it.

I have to say that this chemical gets more interesting each time I try it, as if my body is allowing me to go deeper down the rabbit hole.

so if i were to use to for therapeutic purposes, do you recommend it in moderate doses with friends or higher doses solo?

man forget mxe, or all dissociatives for that matter. i know it was kind of my stupid choice but i wasnt able to find any molly before the bass center so i just took ate and snorted mxe, which i am sure without out a doubt is what lead me to fuck up with all the girls over there and ended spending the night alone. thats a sobering experience right there. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on...

Why do you blame the drug for your obviously reckless behaviour.

...Of course you're going to have a bad experience if you treat this drug (or any other drugs for that matter) without any respect.

can't if tellguyweallknow is being sarcastic or serious. but if the latter, it's the attitude that's messed messed up not mxe.

Short answer is that I don't know. But having said that I would maybe recommend caution. There have been a number of reports of very uncomfortable experiences combining this with certain serotonergics - symptoms experienced sound suspiciously like a mild case of Serotonin Syndrome. And even a mild case of that is far from mild really.

I have no clue what the possible mechanism for causing such symptoms would be or why it only seems to be with certain serotonergics (MDAI, Methylone and 6-APB seem to be the main culprits that I've seen, with MDMA getting fairly mixed reviews but no out and out horror stories like the above). Especially odd when reports of combining with aMT have all been extremely positive. It's very strange but there have been enough warning about combos with the above to make me think there really is some kind of issue with certain serotonergics. At least in some people. Don't recall seeing many (any?) good reports of combining with the three above from anyone so far though.

Prozac is obviously not on the list and don't recall it coming up before. Just the fact that there seems to be a possible problem in the serotoninny arena would make me cautious combining them - I'd suggest starting at a very low-dose to test the waters and go up gradually initially. Having said that, I have no problems combining with my daily tramadol dose. It's an SNRI rather than an SSRI but I imagine there to be some similarities. Perhaps.

Me and a few others have used MDMA or MDAI with MXE without any ill effects on multiple occasions now. Do you think this could be down to differences in body chemistry/genetics?

I'm sure that it could. Just struck me that there have been an unusually high number of reports of bad experiences combining with a few serotoninny (:)) things. May be pure coincidence, may be a body chemistry thing, may be nothing at all. But thought it worth a mention as it does seem to be a pretty common experience from what I've read.

I have mixed it with methylone and mdma and my friends have mixed it with mdma, to no ill effect. I think its simply a matter of preference or body chemistry.

I think we need to formally nickname this, im tired of calling it methoxetamine or mxe. Perhaps something that touches on the fact that it makes everything so christmasy? Lol ive been mentally reffering to doing mxe as "hittin the slopes" after an awesome acid trip where it turned everything white and sparkly.

Responses can vary a lot... My wife and I each did 30mg sublingual:

For me it was pretty stimulatory/energizing, with a most exquisite body high. If you haven't already done so, find some time during the peak to stop everything and just be mindful of your body/muscles. Doing this for 30 seconds was like a full body orgasm for me. Like nothing I've ever felt.

For my wife it was enjoyable, but sedating. She later described it as having numbed her brain in the same way it numbed her mouth. She lay down on the couch and was mostly a zombie until we finally went to sleep. She had a good time as a zombie, but that was boring for me. :)

Yeah, maybe a new name is in order...I'm confused...METHOXETAMINE blablabla

MXE? MKET?

Amen to that bro!! I feel this! It's a bit of a truth serum to me too... tho its messy, i'm pretty confused... it's like candy but with a catch...

Hmmm, streetlights are pretty... but!

This thing deserves a name!

It has a name. "Street names" for RCs are generally a Bad Idea - just look how ridiculous it got with mephedrone. Was called something completely different from one dealer to the next virtually. And all were ridiculous. From a safety standpoint it also means people may have no idea of the actual name of the drug they have taken is which is not so great should a medical emergency be unfortunate enough to crop up.

Having said that, if any RC was getting a street name there would possibly be more of a case for this one than for most due to popularity and having a bloody hard to pronounce name as it is.
