The Big & Dandy Methoxetamine Thread - 2nd Dissociation

I ended up just going to bed, thank goodness. This morning, I wake up feeling a bit intellectually drained and with a headache...stupidity on my part.

I have yet to experience this profundity or warmth. I would almost wager it will not be present for me. But the next trial will have more controlled conditions...

my 500mg came in the post today. i wanna feel nice and good but not confused and fucked up, i guess 25mg should be around the dose required?

Sounds good, you'll be a little confused but it will be enjoyable.
(assuming no tolerance)

tbh im not sure what to expect. i dont wanna get stuck in loops and stuff, ive had that before and i felt like i was going insane. although not much can top DMT so i should be alright

^^ i didnt experience any confusion in the 20-40 mg range, just very fun and euphoric. great for watching films or listening to music.

The deja vu thing seems to be a characteristic of dissociates in general. I did experience this on MXE last night, if I might call it that. It was a sense of having made a profound connection to a song before that had some meaning that was beyond me, then listening to it whilst in the not-quite-there MXE space and having some sort of inexplicable realization. It was like I was embodied in the song. A bit of toying with my ego there. I'll have to listen to the same song sober and see what I think.

Kind of hard to type on it

Can methoxetamine be dissolved in water and drunk? As sublingual didn't seem to have to much of an effect.

A post i made in an Etizolam thread just now:

Well, from the equivelency chart of benzos I have been deeply studying, for what it's worth, it looks like you took about 20mg total of valium. Not really that much but nonetheless, the benzos you took seem to be short acting ones. Would that have anything to do with not getting the full effect of MXE or having your trip just shut off? I had beautifull closed eye visuals (what I'm after) and no mania on 4mg of Estazolam, which is about 20mg equivelant of valium but longer lasting and more on the hypnotic side, as it is (marketed) as a sleep med. I just picked up my prescription of Temazapam, 15mg capsuls. Tommorow night I will take 30mg of Temazapam, which equates out to about 15mg of Valium, to see if I can re-create my beautifull time on MXE with all the spectacular visuals and no mania, IM'ing my usual MXE dose of 50mg.

hm there does seem to be a tolerance to MXE forming. Just did 50mg spaced out and didnt really get very much, except abit of euphoria and energy. Bit of a bummer.

How often have you been steadily doing it? I can only do it on a Thursday night and Sat nite one week, and then only on a Thursday nite the next week, and so on cause of my work schedule and kid custody arrangement. You don't think a hell of a tolerance will build that way, do you? I suppose a strict schedule like this for me might work to my advantage.

I was on a 25 mg dose of methoxetamine last night and I noticed something unusual that I don't think others have commented on. I spent most of my trip indoors but when I went outside to smoke a cigarette, I noticed something quite strange.

Even though it was 12:30 AM and cloudy, everything looked unusually bright. It was so noticeable that at first I assumed it was from a light of some sort. However, after taking a look around, there was no unusual light source. Everything was lit up like there was a very bright moon, yet it was completely cloudy and snowing. I could see animals running around that I would normally have never been able to see at night. I could have walked through the woods without tripping or stumbling on anything. I considered the possibility that I was hallucinating everything but it was a small dose and I was otherwise feeling fairly sane. When I went back inside, I checked the clock to see if I had somehow slept through a few hours and it was actually morning. However, the clock said 12:42. Anyone else notice that methoxetamine gives you night vision? I know it sounds nuts, but I swear I'm not making it up.

^Neither me or my room mate had any noticeable pupil dilation on doses ranging from 20-30mg..

EDIT: that's not to say other people might. would be interesting if that was the case!

Believe it or not, I've actually had a similar experience. It was a semi moonless night yet I could see fairly well. I walked onto my backyard and the lights from the house appeared bright and very distant. I walked through the woods in my backyard and could make out the trees and plants relatively clearly. On most nights I would have very limited vision, but somehow I was able to navigate through these woods just fine. When I went back inside I felt like I had just woken up; my eyes felt uncomfortable in the brightness, so I went back outside and just wandered around. My surroundings felt bright, surreal, and dreamy even though it should have been pitch black outside. Very strange but enjoyable experience. I can't say for sure if MX gives you better visibility in the dark–– at the time I thought the weather conditions were just optimal. I'll have to experiment further.
