Agreed it's a really enjoyable rush, but watch out doing it too often, maybe try for once a week at most; (multiple times) daily had my tolerance go up insanely fast (I think it nudged my permatolerance up a bit too).

Hi, I asked about a good first time starting dose for MXE and was suggested to start with 5mg and increase until I'm where I want to be. Anyway, the mxe is here, so..
Since I don't really trust my scales to weigh out 5mg accurately and am planing sub-lingual administration anyway, would it be wrong to dissolve 50mg in some (10ml or something) vodka (to prevent bacterial growth and stuff like that) and then slowly dose that? That's how I've always done it with 2C-E and it made dosing much more consistent and the solutions lasted for a long time (with water they just grew mouldy in a few days).

Would this be a good idea and does anyone know how long would that solution last (in a cool dark place obviously)?
 
catman, I think 5mg would be too low a dose to notice, even with zero tolerance. The dose I usually recommend to people to start with is about 20mg oral, I´ve seen many people have success with that dose. You may need to take a bit more later. I can´t really notice any difference between sublingual and oral, have done both many times.
 
Thanks mate, I've heard all sorts of numbers, from 5 to 25mg. So I'd rather start lower and take more if it doesn't give me a strong enough effect (read that re-dosing works with this one). What I'm mostly concerned right now is weather a solution of mxe in vodka would go bad quickly or stay stable at least a week or so.

The first time I took 2C-E I took a relatively high dose for an inexperienced person (wouldn't really call it a bad trip, but if I could do it again, I'd start lower), so from now on starting on the low end is something I prefer.
 
Interesting that so many of you say it improves music. For me, anything more than 30mg makes music seem superficial and generally not fun to listen to. At this point, I would say that's probably the biggest negative for me about it, since music enhancement is one of the main reasons why I take psychedelics.

It's almost been a year since I started using MXE. I've bought 7 grams, and out of that would estimate that I've personally done 5 grams. I don't feel any worse for it, but sometimes I feel like I might be worse for it, but I can't actually tell 8( . I'm betting I'll go through another gram before my one year anniversary in January.

Also, I woke up last sunday, railed 90mg and watched the move Ninja Scroll for the first time. Probably the most confusing two hours of my life. That movie probably doesn't even make much sense when viewed sober anyway...
 
^ The interesting part about music enhancement is, that not all music sounds nice. I listened to some music which sounded totally shite (while i liked it sober), and other music sounded simply phantastic.
 
Reached ~250mg MXE with some mates last night. We simply split the 1g into 4*250mg, and then that again into about 20 bumps each. It was very much spread out but we did wayyy too much, especially as 2 of them were pretty much first time drug users.

I really hate the crisp, crumbled paper feeling you get.
 
An interesting feeling from MXE that I've felt(and other friends have reported) is the feeling of... sand in your fingers/toes? Like, you're limbs are made of sand.. and there's external sand in your extremities. Interesting stuff.
 
5mg is definitely low, no need to start that low.
When I did my first dose 6 months ago (and that was the strongest batch I ever had, and no, it's not due to my tolerance, because I always store few hundred mgs of each batch so I can objectively compare in future), even 15mg was a weak high. I did 20 more a few minutes later for a total of 35mg and that was very nice, I felt I could handle even much more just didn't need to. I weigh 110kg though.

Interesting, I'm trying it on Thursday (first day I'll have enough time and will decide by then.

Anyway, I'll report back with the results :)
 
So how has the quality been lately? Any of the people who used to get the pre ban uk stuff still finding anything that compares to the old stuff? I gave up after ordering from the american source and getting half salt or something...
 
^ I know what you're talking about. It was also mentioned in one of the earlier MXE-Threads. I'm also getting this, but not too often.
 
I have BIG questions to ask of people experienced with Sublingual and Oral:

1..Is Oral that much less efficient than sublingual?
2..Whats the difference in come-up times?

I'm an avid Sublingual user but I wonder if its significantly different from Oral.


Another question regarding the title of this thread: is it cynicism or did someone really lose a kidney after total usage of about 50gr MXE?
 
When I used this drug for the last time, I was taking more and more, until finally completely lost control. I received a strong reddening of the head and upper chest. My heartbeat was crazy.

I was really scared for my life.

Most likely I do not touch this drug more.
