Hey guys I got lucky today and discovered a gram of 2011 pre ban mxe. This came out right around the time the yellow sandy polymorph mxe was around. It's litterally been sitting in a box in the basement for 5 years. Does it lose potency at all? Also I am 99% sure this was white when I got it but oxidised to a very pale beige yellow powder.
I have never used mxe before so whatis a good starting dose? And I don't have any regents but I wanted to know what does it usually taste like is there a telltale taste for this stuff. I'm not looking for a drug ID im 99%, sure its mxe. Unfortunately it was labeled by a number system and the actual bag it's in does not say mxe just the catalogue number 21#

Fuckin' lucky bitch. Really pure methoxetamine had very little taste for me, but the less pure stuff was always kinda salty tasting. The pure stuff was kinda salty too but hard to notice because it was so faint.
 
I only ever bought two batches. One has close to no taste, and the other one, which is the most potent one by the way, has a weird chemical taste. I sometimes think it is leftover solvent, but maybe it's just the taste of pure MXE? I dunno.
 
I've had tasteless MXE, MXE that tasted like table salt, and MXE that tastes salty a bit, but also bitter. Each one had a different appearance... the tasteless one was pure white and powdery, the salty one was slightly off-white and sandy, and the bitter one is insanely clumpy in a way I've never seen with another chemical.

Yeah I got a ton of gram size free samples for some programing work on a now gone but at one time a huge USA RC vendor. Back in the good old days. I just really like visual drugs.
I never really fucked with the dissos that much as they kinda scare me. Just like I still got a gram of 3 meo PCP from that era I don't know if I would ever use it again. Don't like the robotic feel. Does mxe feel robotic like drunken slow vision ala 3 meo.
Ketamine never appealed to me and remained one of the only drugs I Haven't tried.
What's the appeal for you guys of this chemical and stuff like k before I visit it.
Ketamine and mxe and all dissos don't sound like they a good for groups. This only would seem like a good idea to use any disso at home alone r with a expierenced sitter.
I do remember when this was available 2 kinds of mXe were around straingt white mxe and a sandy yellow batch. This im sure was the white kind.
 
So what's the big appeal of mxe? Getting so fucked you hole and can't move? Is that what I am trying to get out of it.
May sound silly but I got mabey 1 or 2 disso expierence with dissos undercmy belt.
 
I get the impression from here that a lot of people use them for some kind of medicinal benefit. Usually depression or chronic fatigue. I think they can induce a kind of mania which can be beneficial in the treatment of these.
 
The real value to me and many others is the versatility. Nice response. What is your prep or setting for this? Also what is a good starting dose and R.O.A. Is starting low and titrating the dose up gradually the way to approach this.
Also if I recall I have heard this can be very 'moreish' like blacking out and totally going nuts with lines. That is the LAST thing I would ever want to happen.

Dissos are an acquired taste I guess. First time I tired MXE I dosed in the lowish range and was very disappointed. I just felt blank minded and intellectually disabled.

After a couple of experiments I decided to just shelve it for a long time, until last year when I just though "Fuck it" and shoot for a large dose. I had a pretty amazing experience of melting into the music, and experiencing things I never though could be experienced, haha.

After that, I though that only hole-level doses were worthy, but honestly, I've been getting mildly psychedelic effects from lower dosages lately. As Vortech said, "unusual phenomenology": a completely distorted experience of senses and though process.

I would suggest titrating up, anyway. Dissos usually allow themselves for redoses, but beware of the extended duration this carries with it. My favorite ROA seems to be sublingual nowadays, oral is fine too. Another thing I like is taking a medium dose nasally and a large oral one. The insufflated dose hits faster, and and hour later you'll be washed away by the oral dose. In my experience MXE is better enjoyed alone or with a close and trusted companion, a small group of friend at most. Dim illumination and heavily textured music is advised.
 
I like to lay out my dosage for the night (for you probably 40 or so mg) and break it into three lines, which I then insuflate over the course of an hour.

I like to be alone, in a comfy, central space with speakers pointed right at me. I always listen to weird electronic music on MXE, such as Boards of Canada and Stars of the Lid.

Sound like a good idea to prep 3 lines out first.
It does seem that everyone who used to use it like really miss it I got enough problems and don't need to one with dissos.
I guess the I'll dig deep into my music Library and try out beats antique, Russ liquid, the floozies, bassnectar, and some lettuce for the FUNK of it then play with stuff that goes BOOM :-). Happy 4th all. Hopefully it not raining like it will be here!

Second the Boards of Canada suggestion, Music has the right to Children has been for quite a long time my go to album for diving deep into myself :P
 
^BoC isn't really what I'd call EDM. To be honest, it boarders on being creepy hahah, but that's why I like their music for MXE. MXE makes music sound odd, sometimes tinny, but it can be quite euphoric with the right music. Along with BoC and Stars of the Lid, I also frequent The Orb's albums for some of my mexxy trips. Really, go with what you find the most appealing. Personally I have an entire set of albums that I don't listen to on any other drug save for MXE, because I find that these artists' music is catered perfectly to a dissociated state and the weird aural effects produced by MXE.
