^ Thirded. It's not nice being stuck somewhere on acid wondering how you're going to get home.

I also agree with those saying electronic music and acid are a heavenly pairing - it's almost as if it were made with tripping in mind ;)

I wouldn't personally recommend mixing acid and ecstasy without a bit of prior experience with acid first - incredibly euphoric combo but can also be overwhelmingly intense. I'd work up to that personally.

To be more specific, I think acid distinctly modifies the way I perceive music. When sober I tend to be more interested in melodies and the general progression of a song. However while tripping my interest in the music is much more based in the present. The specific qualities and timbres of the sounds in the music end up being what I pay attention to the most, and since a lot of electronic music is designed with the sounds/instruments in mind just as much as the overarching melodies and themes, EDM ends up really shining.

So yes, in general my appreciation of music increases while tripping, but I've found that of all genres electronic tends to get the most improvement.
 
i feel like i can dance better to electronic music when im on lsd even more so then mdma...if your comfortable and confident with your self on lsd in a crowd of people getting down then you will be comfortable while raging to Deadmau5 ...who rocks by the way!!!
 
OHH yeah i forgot!!! I got into electronic music through lsd...before tripping i thought that techno was completely lame then i acidentally saw a New Deal show while faced and ive been loven it every since dancing while tripping is my favorite
 
First Acid Trip

My girlfriend and i are about to have our first acid trip in a few weeks. Im planning on taking one hit of this supposibly crazy blotter and my girlfriend is going to take a half. We're planning on dropping around 8am and then just having the whole day to trip. Any tips?
 
dont make plans...just have activities available to you. Have fun and learn, LSD is quite a teacher

Do what you would normally do on a fun day all to yourselves. Just follow what feels good to you. I wouldn't go out in public (you probably wont want to anyway), music is always super nice.

Just go with the flow, LSD is fantastic :)

All great suggestions. Personally, I never plan a trip - prefer to just go with wherever it takes me. I can assure you you won't get bored ;)

First shroom experience

Tonight I'm going to be taking my first booms. Any one have any things that I should do? Anything particularly amazing?
 
Have a read through one of the First Time Trip threads for some ideas, perhaps? There's one here and another one here that should give you plenty of ideas :)

Personally, I'd suggest just going with what feels right at the time. Get yourself some great music, take a walk if you feel okay to do so, ponder the mysteries of life, the universe and everything, marvel at the pretty things or just giggle like a loon for a few hours. All these things come highly recommended :D

First shooting star i ever saw was looking out at space while tripping pretty hard on acid.... it was still early in the trip them but i knew it would be good from that moment....
 
Hey Tranden, today I'm doing acid for the first time too :D When I'm tripping i'll think, hey.. Some guy on BL is tripping right now..

But yeah, I think just go with it, nature is always good, be with people you trust for sure.. Or be alone. Music is good. Have fun
