The Big & Dandy First-Time-Tripper Thread

I know exactly what you mean mate. Been there. Most of us here have I would say.

However, the fact that we had such experiences doesn't make us any more "special", "enlightened" or whatever you want to say than those who haven't. So let's not differentiate and draw lines in the sand between those who have and haven't. We're all human and all essentially equal.

Thats kinda the good thing with psychedelics; they offer the same experience-potential to everyone, just depends on how each person decides to take it. One mans trash in another mans treasure....:) Plenty of people I know love acid and psychedelia but see not much beyond recreation in them. Other people I know moderate forums about these drugs....their the odd ones.

Thats not what I meant. I was saying that some people find more in psychedelics than others.

Exactly, and it's the decision the person makes which allows for their use of or interpretation of the experience. Not because they are inherently "special", that's the point I'm trying to make Shlumpeet.. It doesn't take a "special person" to appreciate psychedelics and their true potential, it just takes a person who chooses to do so. I know where you're coming from, I just have an issue with your choice of words. There's nothing special about that choice or the person who makes it (aside from the actual experiences, they are plenty special ;))
 
that was fucking aswesome. nothing like i thought it would be but eating acids turned out to be the best and longest and most easily forgotten moment in my life. im so sore, but i just wanna trip again

In fact, I might go as far as saying that a sober person could cause what they are trying to avoid.

There is nothing worse than having a great time on a psychedelic ruined by a sober person trying to "freak you out" or "mess with your head." It never works, it's just incredibly annoying.

yeah my stomach ached from the laughing, and my legs and feet were so sore from running EVERYWHERE and just wandering off on missions around the place with no shoes on. definetly gonna happen again next weekend.

I think know what you mean, on LSD I always feel in control even when I'm not. However, I think that can be where the danger lies. I've had one occasion on LSD where I totally lost control (although still feeling in control) and did some seriously stupid shit. On muchrooms (even after 10-12 dried grams) the worst that has happened is I've curled up in a ball and been very unhappy for a while. I think this is why people do more stupid things like jumping out of windows on LSD. To extend the analogy, on LSD it is like you are driving while fucked on acid, on mushrooms it is like you are in the passenger seat while some wise spirit takes you on a magical tour of your psyce!

Don't know if anyone else agrees?
 
^ I see where you are coming from! If things go really wrong for you on Shrooms, you probably won't be in any state to do anything that would put you or others at any risk.
 
man i cant wait for my first lsd trip. a bit back me and my frind were gonna buy a vile but after me trying too convince him that taking a half vile at the fucking mall was not a great idea and not listening too me i backed out. i will not be caught with that shit cuz of something like that. on a different note, if i were too drop some on a sugar cube, how many drops would be equivelent too two blotters?

But not all blotters, and not all drops, are created equal. Dosing liquid LSD is not an exact science.

And please, for the love of all that is holy, do not dose half a vial for your first time. I've done it -- by accident -- and it turned out alright, but could VERY VERY VERY EASILY NOT HAVE. Be careful out there! Read up and be mentally prepared!
 
lol i tryed too explain that info too him and hes all like "i wanna see purple elephants!@;" so i decided that hes not smart and did not pay my half. rofl i try too inform and he tells me too stfu. he also thinks the cia created acid
 
I'd avoid people like that when it comes to drugs, well, generally, but especially when it comes to drugs.
 
7 grams of the mush

I know its not really my first trip, but 7 grams is a lot different from 3.5. Really exited, but anyone got any tips for my trip?

ps. They are from January and look fantastic :D Im guessing it is much better than my first eigth. My first eigth was pretty tight too.
 
Hey guys, I tried LSD for the first time a few days ago. I took a tab at 9.30 p.m. and just lay in bed tripping out. I got weird visuals, it was the most wanky, postmodern experience of my life.
The real visuals stopped at about 5 a.m., but I felt odd and a bit out of reality until about 1 p.m.
It was an excellent experience, but I just want to know what kind of differences there are between tripping by myself in bed, in a dark room, at night, listening to music on my iPod, and for example, wandering around the city, or sitting in a park, etc.
Where's the best place to go to be on acid?
 
Somewhere outdoors with cool music and people and positive energies ...

Hmm, what sort of place is that? ;)

opiod dependent worried about first trip

got some blotter coming to town very soon and my guy is saying i should not dose before or during the trip i was planning on taking one hit blotter supossidly some reall good stuff that would last 3 days max but i take 60mg methadone daily and im scared that if i dont dose those days ill have a very bad trip because of w/d but if i do they making it seem like i would od or somthing wouldnt mix right i really have no clue if it would potentiate the methadone or what thats why im coming to yall to find out what my best bet is..... thanks (somone who REAAALy wants to finally trip)
