The impurities would depend on where they fucked up. If there wasn't enough chlorine, or of the chlorination didn't work quite properly, there could be some 2,5-dimethoxyamphetamine in there. Otherwise, as stated above, there could be extra chlorines on there instead of not enough. If the impurity was a result of improper synthesis, it would almost have to be an amine, as anything else would be removed by even a half-assed chemist. I can't think of anywhere else that the synthesis could go wrong, so I'm pretty sure any other impurity would have to be intentional. If so, there's no hope of guessing what it is.
 
based on the sources response i get the impression that the impurity was NOT intentional. That said 2,5-DMA would be nothing to sweat over. im assuming the correct number of chlorines is one...would the dichlorinated or trichlorinated material be toxic, or just inactive?

I know exactly of the batch you are referring to, and am also equally concerned.

I don't have the means to test this yet, (in terms of what the inactive part is made up of) but have also received a response from the vendor that suggests the impurity was by no means intentional. Feel free to PM me if you want to doublecheck that we are discussing the same batch.
 
Indeed, the proper number of chlorines is one. However, I'm not aware of any research being done with multiple ones attached. I've not the slightest idea of their effect.
 
ok so quick question why is that a tri-flouro group in 2c-tfm would be very active and considerably more potent than the virtually inactive 2c-f, but a trichloro group on DOC would be inactive? is it because of the methyl group in 2c-tfm?
 
On 2C-TFM, it's a trifluromethyl group, like 2C-D with all the hydrogens on the 4-methyl replaced with fluorines. They're all attached to the methyl, which is then on the 4-position. It's not a trichloro group that would attach itself to the 4-position of 2,5-DMA during the synthesis, but three chlorine groups attaching themselves to three separate locations. It wants to go to the 4-position first, but if there's an excess of chlorine they will start replacing hydrogens at other locations on the molecule as well. I'm not completely certain where, but I'd bet the farm that they'd start filling in the empty spots on the ring (3 and 6) and then, if there were an even greater excess, they might start attaching to the side chain.
 
!st time with DOC excited !!

So im about to get my hands on some DOC and was just wondering if any of u REALLY experienced trippers have any advice for me ??I know to be careful because it is easy to overdose on DOC and i am an experienced psychonaut !

Be careful measuring and make sure you have at least 24 hours free.
 
ohh epic journey

Everytime I am about done with a DOx trip I always feel like I've almost come to the end of an epic journey just because of how long it lasts
 
AAhh im so hyped i have heard it is is quite a happy trip ! I have to ask about the visuals being compared to and mostly stronger then acid. Though i havent tried acid i have done mushrooms alot some tryptamines and some 2Cxx. wat sort of visuals should i expect ??
 
The visuals are quite LSD-like but I do find them stronger in general. They differ in quality a bit... hard to explain that sort of thing, really. LSD's visuals appear more natural, and DOC's are a bit more "neon" (for me at least).

I find the trip quite happy... usually at first it can be a bit overwhelming (depending on dose). Usually around hour 6 or 8 (depending on dose) I enter the second stage, which is less trippy and more euphoric... it makes me feel so great at that stage. I can't stop talking and moving around and having ideas.

Definitely expect a VERY long trip (24 hours total is no exaggeration). You will be tripping strongly for 6-8 hours, and then it will plateau and the plateau lingers on until hour 24 or even longer sometimes, although I always feel quite capable of doing stuff on the plateau, including talking to people and stuff.

It's nothing like tryptamines or any of the 2C-Xs... you're in for a ride. DOC and the DOXs in general are very, very strong... very immersive substances. Please do not take it unless you're in a safe setting where nothing can happen for at least 24 hours. Benzos will only make you a little calmer... they won't kill the trip like they will with weaker substances.
 
The more I read about DOC the more I cannot figure out why it is not more popular. I realize that tripping for a day is pretty excessive but still.
 
^^ For a while it was very popular. I guess it kinda fell off. Which is fine by me. :)

Plus a good-sized group of people find it uncomfortable. I am not one of those, although LSD is certainly more comfortable in the body.

Exactly. The methoxy groups on the ring are hard to pull off without wrecking the rest of the molecule first.
 
Well Xorkoth i appreciate ur information on this !! This is what kind of trip i have been looking for i would have to say u took the words immersive substance right out of my mouth ! ha
