The Big & Dandy Deliriants Thread

I've drank angel trumpet tea and tripped out sick with it. I was sitting on the couch with my friends and i imagined/hallucinated that we all went to the store and then I snapped back to reality and I was still sitting on the couch... we hadn't gone anywhere. I had dreams while i was still awake
 
I think I have a good HR method for anyone crazy enough to try Datura.

1. Abstain from all recreational drugs for a period of time.
2. Brew a tea from one flower with plenty of water.
3. When it's done, pour shots of it and take them on an empty stomach. Take 1 and see how you feel later. Adjust as needed. If the whole flower didn't do shit, then nothing lost but an hour or two. Potency can vary from plant to plant. This is the most dangerous thing about nightshades.
4. Don't eat seeds or plant material.
5. Have a sitter and don't combine anything with it.
 
Ive tried DPH (benadryl) which Ive read is very similar to Datura and other delirients.

I can say that it is in no way fun or an experience. It is not a trip really, all you feel is very paranoid and on edge. Not only do you see the scariest shit you can think of, you are 10x more prone to being scared from seeing such things.

It's not something to try. It is not fun or recreational at all, I can promise that you will hate it and find no value in experiencing it.

I've had some pretty interesting experiences on properly prepd Amanitas, too. Actually if you ensure ALL the ibotenic acid (delerient) is converted to Muscimol, then you now have technically a "psychedelic dissociative," not a delerient, fyi.

After an initial euphoric period, you start to feel drowsy... then you have a series of episodes when you sort of "nod off" but during these little 'naps" you have the most amazing mythic-level ultra trippy "dreams". It will happen multiple times. You will vividly remember these ultra-dreams when you come out of them. You don't really feel it coming, only when you wake up, or "come back." Its incredibly wild. This is where the true revelations are given to you.

[added: weirdest thing is it feels like the dreamlets last hours, but the clock says only several minutes each... this is what James Arthur's recipe page means by "time dilation"... its not just rhetoric, its true... oh and the below experience resulted from a combo of MAO inhibitor Syrian Rue, small dose 1.5g of psilocybe cubensis, small dose of GHB, and marijuana, THEN the Amanita ritual to top it all off... I went several places, but this was the most amazing one:]

Ive had things happen that were so hard to describe... God-like beings the size of stars "feeding" off of the souls of recently deceased beings... all beings, human as well as animal... these souls looked like a river made from points of light flowing up off the Earth into space... the "god-beings" would consume them, and thereby absorb and re-live all the experiences of the deceased ones, and in this way preserve them and keep them alive within themselves for all eternity. Whoa.

Not always true.. i once had to get the kryptonite back from lex luther that he nicked off superman.. or so i said..

I've had conversations with a fridge, and the stairs..

But then i've also got terrified of an imaginary flock of birds flying through the room.. although it was only for a second..

But then again i've been in the middle of all my friends while they're all mocking me, telling me they hate me and laughing at me, while my girlfriend is doing the same while in bed with someone else..
 
I have used belladonna. Don't do it. . The deliriant threshhold is close to that of overdose. YOU CAN OD ON THIS AND DIE. BELLADONNA MANDRAKE DATURA, HENBANE have been used for over a milenia as poisons by assasisns

????? you dont quite know what your talking about do you? 300 mg mdma is like 2 or 3 pills, no one gets intense vivid life like hallucinations after 3 yokes man.. maybe if you took 10.... maybe

As said, no-one is attacking you, but it seems that you don't know all that much about either psychedelics or deleriants; you know, the only true knoweldge can arise if you've taken the drugs really...As I said, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you've taken a deleriant.

If you do, use something synthetic, simply because you can at least have control over the amount you ingest; you still won't have control over anything else.

Also, on a harm reduction board, you will always hear a certain degree of derision towards specific drugs; you can always imply ignore it. I tend to ;)

.. i dont think so. im not arguing with you or anything, and im not starting some sort of "my drugs are better than yours" discussions, but i dissolve my pills in acetone and just get the pure md out of them. mines fairly good, and ive never ever had life like hallucinations....
 
I've personally dosed very high on numerous occasions with Datura Stramonium. I find the use of deliriants regarding psychonautics to be that of recognizing delusions, as well as experiencing true hallucinations and temporary insanity. It is a fantastic tool when used to hone your ability to control your mind, due to the fact that is nearly impossible on deliriants, and requires a tremendous effort of will and psychological exertion. Also, when you let yourself go rather than control it, these poisons are good for releasing yourself of all the strain of self-control that gathers in life, as well as being an effective method of facing your fears and overcoming psychological barriers.
 
the movie '1408'

A somewhat tangential question, but relevant nonetheless: Who here has viewed the movie titled '1408'?
I ask this because the protagonist's entire experience in the hotel room seemed likened to a deliriant trip from Hell, possibly datura[ from what I have read about it; the only specifically 'deliriant' hallucinogens that I have tried are the OtC antihistamines diphenhydramine HCl and dimenhydrinate from Dramamine OriginalFormula], or perhaps a salvia trip( which I *have* experienced, having toked on a 100x extract--crazy fucking intensely terrifying five minutes that felt like entire days!). Like comeon, when he was staring at the hotel manager--down a hall inside of the *freezer*?!??
 
haha that movie was pretty underrated IMO. and yeah, I never thought of it that way..

how much diph did you take by the way? I noticed a lot of people say they don't like deliriants, but particularly with diph, it's all about using it "right". taking 300-350 mg, for example, can be a hypnotic high with some other fun effects (like your limbs getting all heavy), and it doesn't really have that paranoid "edge" that deliriants are known for.

what I'm trying to say is that deliriants are TONS of fun in moderation, otherwise you will get that "trip from hell". but if you use em right, it's somewhat similar to a cross between xanax and DXM. use it as a downer, not a hallucinogen - then you get the best of both worlds
 
Smoking Hells Bells (Brugmansia)

i want to trip off datura. but when i smoked it, it did not hit at all, and im wondering what would be a better way of ingestion?
