should be getting my greedy hands on some of this guy soon...

most likely going to test the waters with about 15mg

can anyone speculate as to whether this will be a ++ or +++...and as regards the visuals...will this dose be comparable to higher doses of the 4-AcO-DMT? I tend to get rather weak visuals off that one, and am looking for a more immersive experience with the same general tryptamine feel...although subtle differences are of course welcome...

Also, how is the euphoria/mental state?
 
Has anyone who has tried this also tried 4-aco-met? What are the differences between the 2 compounds?

Also, there doesn't seem to be an erowid page for the chemical...am I blind or stupid?

I haven't tried this but i'd hazard a guess that it is identical if not stronger than psilocin the plus side being not having to ingest large amounts of mushrooms.

The doses for psilocin are in the table below. ~20mg would blow your mind to peices.

Personally i would start experimenting in the threshold range . With psilocin sometimes too little leaves you uncomfortable - this i don't think you'll have that problem with though :) just respect it and don't go overboard like this guy

Oral Dosages
Threshold 2 - 4 mg
Light 4 - 8 mg
Common 6 - 20 mg
Strong 20 - 40 mg
Heavy 35 + mg
 
Yes but with only one TiHKAL entry.

I still think its amusing this hit the market like it did when I said years ago that I think it is very promising and everyone pretty much laughed it off based on its structure. Yet here it comes out and it is definitely my favorite of the 4-sub family.

15mg should definitely be a +++ - there is very little mental with this compound, it just shatters your ego by blanking your mind. You basically become the visuals themselves if you get the dose right.

The euphoria is indescribable. Your entire body rushes with euphoria on this one.

4-AcO-MET is only available from one place, nobody is even sure that it is indeed 4-AcO-MET and early reports don't sound very promising. It seems like it is just a slowed down, dumbed down, 4-HO-MET.

Erowid does not currently have a vault for 4-HO-MET, no but the TiHKAL page was linked above which is not very helpful. They do, however, have an experience vault - http://www.erowid.org/experiences/subs/exp_4HOMET.shtml

It was quite a long time. I ended up terminating the experience with klonopin and alcohol around the T+9:30 mark when I was still at a rolling + to ++

I tried it a while back and enjoyed it quite a bit. I haven't tried 4-HO-MET for comparison yet though. Hopefully I will shortly, but it will end up being almost a year in between trying the AcO & HO versions, so I'm not sure how accurate my comparison will be. I did have the foresight to write up a TR for 4-AcO-MET as its so rare, so that should be of some use. I do remember describing the visuals as "Steadman-esque," as in Ralph Steadman, the artist who did a lot of illustration for Hunter Thompson, and I believe currently does the artwork for Flying Dog Brewing Company. Good stuff. As is 4-AcO-MET ;)

Found this to be acid or mushroom like but more lighthearted, smooth, joyful although some part is lost without that intense depth.
Not too long ago I took 40 mg in the course of an evening, but with a little general tolerance. 15 mg with anoth 10 when I started to feel it, then right after the peak the rest.

This one ranks very high on my list, above 4-HO-DiPT and 4-HO-MiPT and the 5-MeOs... and less incredible but more 'safe' feeling than 4-AcO-DMT. The latter can be threatening, 4-HO-MET was heavy but still not ego shredding in a ferocious fashion.
 
experienced 4-ho-met/2ci combo as first trippa.
Changed my life, the colours... the patterns. KWOAR!
 
can anyone experienced with 4-ho-met comment about how set/setting and stuff effects the trip?

in particular, i'm curious:
- how music sounds like on it?
- how is nature while on it - amazing like with other psychs?
- is it easy to get uncomfortable with people around if that's what happens with the classic psychs?
- how are the CEV? in the dark? could you roll around in the bed with the room pitch black and having amazing visions?
 
This is glorious stuff... I don't have very much to say at this moment other than that! +++ at 33mg for me. amazing effect on music, so-so on the erotic but electrifying when combined with methylone...
 
Has anyone tried this combined with MDMA of taken ketamine at the tail end of this chem?

Also, is redosing effective?
