☛ Official ☚ The Big & Dandy 2C-T-21 Thread

This esoteric little rarity was a stellar compound in my experience. I took it up to a maximum dose of 20-22mg (after starting with 10mg), which proved to be ample for a full-on "proper" psychedelic sojourn. I would estimate that 20mg of 2C-T-21 was visually comparable to a very high-end dose (i.e. 60mg) of 2C-B or any other of the 4-halo-phenethylamine psychedelics. However, the physical sides of the T-21 are far more mild than those of 2C-B at such a high dose--while 2C-B can produce headaches, jaw tension and other annoyances at a fully-emersive dose, this one feels essentially translucent. In that sense, it reminded me of DOC (another phenethylamine rarity that I truly loved). Another similarity between 2C-T-21 at higher "fully active" levels (~15-20mg) and the psychedelic amphetamines is the come-up time. That is, it is a psychedelic time-bomb, taking about 2.5-3 hours to ascend (like DOC, DOI). The duration of 2C-T-21 is just perfect: a little longer than the disappointingly short likes of 2C-B et al, but far shorter than the 18 hours of power provided by psychedelic amphetamines. As for nausea, it is extremely uncommon for me to experience nausea with a serotonergic psychedelic (save 5-MeO-DiPT, which certainly sent me on a trip...to the toilet), so your milage may vary with 2C-T-21.

In short, I consider this compound to be amongst the best (if not the best) of the 2,5-dimethoxy-phenethylamines (the '2C-' series). The mental state engendered is flowing and peaceful, with beautiful but not overly-distracting visuals. In fact, the only phenethylamine-type psychedelic that bests it in my mind is the wondrous amphetamine DOC, which I would rank third overall in terms of the psychedelics I have tasted (with d-LSD and 5-MeO-DMT being the top two, respectively).

Edit: As an aside, this chemical was the supreme winner in one category: it is the worst-tasting psychedelic I have tried, bar-none. The substituted amphetamines are almost flavourful compared to this one. Thankfully, the taste doesn't linger at all.

It reminds me of 2c-c at 20-30 mgs for the lack of bodyload but its main effects seemed not psychedelic to me, it felt more like a stimulant or an empatogen, like methylone or mephedrone
Also, very slow come up. Two hours in I was still feeling almost nothing.
No appetite supression at all. I felt like eating some cheese in the middle of it and it felt just right unlike with other phens.

After testing this chem again I have to change my statements. At 10-12 mgs it started to get a little more psychedelic. I got a call from someone and as I was talking on the phone (hmmmm.....hmmmmmm....hmmmmm) I noticed the hair in my arms waving...kind of like weeds in the wind...beautiful. Once again I got the urge to eat and I went for a burger. Stupid choice as driving proved difficult, paranoid thoughts going through my mind (is that car following me? am I driving proper? where the hell am I going?).
 
And what about the combination with N2O?

Or ketamine?

Or any (new/ more) experiences at all?

Going to try it tomorrow :)

Felt like an LSD-light trip.

Dosis: 12 mg, oral.
Other: Some weed, alcohol and N2O.

* Some/ few nice CEV's with N2O
* Some/ few mindfucks
* No OEV's
* Happiness in the beginning
* More enjoyment from music.

Not so social as I thought it would be, so not MDMA-like (some of you said this in this thread) at all to me. Wasn't very talkative and more 'on my own' during the trip.

Conclusion: A nice 2C. Maybe something for starting trippers?

i second that emotion. and, alas, i think the subtlety of the multifaceted nuances this one has to reveal will be mostly lost on inexperienced voyagers.
 
^ive been meaning to try this one for a while now.
I just need to find a day where i can commit the time to it.
I only have a 10-12mg capsule to work with so thats the dose ill be taking.

it does have some glowing reports for it...:)
 
I had 10 mgs for new year's. Very enjoyable to party. Had a laugh and some slight visuals and sound distortions. My wife had 2c-b and both trips combined great.

I never found much positive in this compound. It always left me feeling like there was a hand around my throat sorta. The only way I personally got any use outta this one was with low doses, say 5 mg. At that level it acted as a decent anti-depressant and social energizer. I think the highest I took this one was around 15-18 mg, at which point the weird constrictive throat thing would happen to me.

I did have a pretty powerful experience combining it with 2c-t-2 once (which I just re-found out is actually posted earlier in this thread from years ago...)

I got mine about 9-10 years ago I guess...still seems to have stored well dissolved in alcohol. No discoloration or obvious signs of degradation.

It's the weakest phenethylamine I've had in terms of psychedelic effects. I agree that it is socially energizing at up to 10 mg or so. I think it might be fun to try with alcohol (and I normally only drink a couple times a year). Perhaps the overdose death gave it too much bad press.

Ooh, I can see 2C-T-2 and 2C-T-21 combining amazingly well. I'd love to try it someday. :)
 
Two friends of mine actually insufflated this once, it was the first and only time of at least one of them but I actually think it was for both of them.

It was ranging from neutral to dysphoric for them, it produced nausea and overall they found it had a really 'weird' effect, at some point they started combining at least with GHB and I think later on ketamine... it didn't really help with the weirdness but apparently it was kind of interesting.
One of those guys 'supplied' the stuff for that experience and the other guy is (still) my best friend. The latter actually thought it was 2C-T-2 and not 2C-T-21, he had thought that a long time until I found out the real identity of the material not too long ago and informed him. It was an error on the supplying guy's part, probably because he was always cloudy in the head from shit. :)

Their reaction was at least for a significant part due to the method of administration is what I think, but still Im not sure about T-21. I have some myself that I am not sure I will try. Anyway I am not tripping anymore for a good while so we'll see when we get there again.

Their experience was the only thing that kept me away from trying my T-2 for a very long time. When I will do some experiments again at some point that is definitely something I want to taste!
 
IME, there is a world of difference between the two. I find to 2C-T-2 to provide a rich experience with synaesthesia between the visual and tactile senses and significant empathogenesis. In contrast, 2C-T-21 is superficial and barely psychedelic; I would never take it if I actually wanted to trip.

Of course many people experience bad GI effects from 2C-T-2 and dislike it immensely.
 
Yeah, 2C-T-2 is a real psychedelic, a powerful tool, for exploring the ego and emotions and all that makes us human. It's like mescaline in many ways, though of course it's its own thing as well. T-2 is one of my favorites. I've only used it 3 times, in 2005. Long overdue for another visit. :)
 
i found this stuff to be fairly psychedelic. i had to push the dose to reach true psychedelia though... it didn't really get there until i hit about 18mg. didn't feel much more toxic than other 2c's at that dose.

i did much enjoy and appreciate doses in the shulgin range as well. it turned into a very different experience at high dosages. i think the highest i took it was about 22mg... maybe a bit more.

i snorted it a couple times, producing the expected result. one time a friend snorted about 6mg of the stuff if i recall correctly... he had a very intense psychedelic experience. around the peak of it he saw a demon come out of the floor. really odd, because oral doses never affected him that strongly... he took it up to about 12 or maybe 14mg.

after reading that one report on erowid of the guy combining t-21 with amphetamine, i decided to try that as well. this stuff goes well with amphetamine and methylphenidate. i don't think i ever went much higher than 10mg of t-21 and 10 to 20mg of amphetamine or dexmethylphenidate. read the report on erowid, my experiences mirror that pretty well. if you're in a crap mood on 10mg of amphetamine and 10mg of t-21, then you've got problems. :)
 
I've been wanting to explore this one for some time now, haven't had the chance to yet though. Had a really fun 2c-t-2 trip last night, in combo with a few other things, and it's really piqued my interest in 2c-t-x's again. The last time I had 2c-t-2 was at least 8 months ago. I'm also a bit curious about 2c-t-4, unfortunately the 2c-t's seem to be pretty rare these days.
 
Very curious about this, in the coming months I will be sampling it. First 1 mg to test the waters and then 8 mg to see what a low level on it is like.
 
Yeah, most people seem to see it as unworthwhile and uninteresting, but the two times I tried it (with alcohol, around 10mg both times if my memory serves me right) I found it very nice party psychedelic with very nice visuals, everything just flowing, curving, melting... Ahh, I need to get me some of this stuff! :)
 
i've pretty much said it twice on this page already (in the last two years albeit =p), but this stuff is pretty versatile, interesting, useful, and enjoyable. wish i had access to some still, you're lucky solipsis. :)
