totally depends on the quality. I've had some hits where 2 hits had me more fucked up than a 10 strip of other stuff.

I'd guess that it's probably enough for 2 people to maybe get a little energetic and giggly.

Im only taking half a pill because the dealer is a friend and has never let me down, also I got depression from doing too much mdma, and with half a pill there is less come down. I am taking 4 tabs of acid the night before so 2 and a half hits wont hit me as hard. Although this is my friends first time with acid and extacy so she should have a blast :D

It really matters on how good of a hit you have, it probably isn't going to be enough to even get off yourself. Do 2-3 hits your first time. I myself have never done acid, I'm just going based off of knowledge.
 
I actually think for a first time, 1 hit, if it is good stuff, is fine. 2 or 3 of some strong cid might push somebody unfamiliar with psychedelics somewhere they don't want to be.

Don't worry though, 2-3 hits of even good cid is still on the lowest end of the spectrum as far as effect goes, and I've encountered lots of people who did far more than that their first time and had very enjoyable experiences.

I think DOHP has the right idea, and everything should turn out splendid.
 
My first time with LSD I started with half a hit (it was just there on Saturday) and it was good blotter I suppose because half had very good effects. A pitty I dropped another half 2 hours after the first but I could feel from the first half that it was good. It's all subjective on the strength of the blotter, if you know it's good strength blotter then by all means share half with your friend.
 
My first time with acid was when I took 1 blotter on my 18th birthday during a road trip with some close friends. I came up on Bournmouth beach.
 
I can 'get off' on half tabs. Just make sure they are good strength.

You guys must get weak doses, because I never have to consume 2-3 hits simply to trip. :)
 
I have no experience with any KNOWN dose of LSD and was wondering if you guys can offer me an estimate of what dose would have produced these effects. I took one hit of blotter and it kicked in very quickly (around 25-30 min) and during the peak I was consumed by ego loss, syntesthesia, and intense, colorful open eye patterning. CEVs were very vivid and went beyond just patterns. At one point I "knew" a language that was nothing like any language on Earth which encompassed colors, sounds, and feelings. Very intense, very thoughtful trip. Any idea what the dosage could have been?
 
Guys, I know that set and setting are probably the most important factors in tripping. What do you guys suggest for the set? Would camping with some good friends be a good place for my first time?
 
Nature. Avoid being indoors, being inside fucking does my head in tripping.

Being in nature on a beautiful day whilst tripping....shit, you're almost guaranteed a good trip provided the people you are with are ok.

Camping would be prime...

don't mean to jack this thread, but i also recently did what i thought was some acid, took atleast 2-3 hours to come on and then i ended up falling asleep about 9 hours after i dropped, probably not acid right? Also i did 1 hit and didn't get much besides for giggles and some very minor visuals.
 
I plan to embark on high dose solo LSD trip soon and I am wondering what those of you do usually on high dose solo acid trips, if you have experience with them?

Is it better to lay in bed with the lights off in sensory deprivation, listen to music, meditate, go outside and walk around, etc. I know it differs for each person and obviously upon the vibes/nature/feeling of the trip and mood you are in. What do some of you guys do and what do you recommend?
 
^Generally I just wait and see what wil happen. My highest dose trip was spent smeared across my girlfriends universe (aherm, bedroom); it was deeply profound regardless. Go with the flow.
 
When I take a high dose of LSD (500mcg+), I like to just lay down during the peak (i'm not immobilized I just like to experience what's going on laying down). After the peak I get up and hang around, smoke some weed, dmt, etc.

The WORST is when you take like 10 hits of supposedly 100mcg acid and it ends up being like 20mcg/hit. I HATE low dose trips when I'm expecting high dose ones. I feel like I have to smoke DMT to get it going.

okay with regards to more than one hit to trip, and I've heard this from friends in real life as well, either I'm a huge lightweight or I get some bomb doses, because one hit usually has me frying pretty good. nothing that I can't handle, mind you, and nothing I'd call a crazy high-dose trip (ten-strip will get me there), but yeah ... dunno ...

Would doing it at night be fine?
 
^ people are of different opinions about night/day tripping. Personally I like both. If you're one to get spooked by being out in the woods at night or your locale is shady then I'd say no, otherwise give it a go. I might suggest your first trip being in daylight though. Much less confusing, less liable to get lost, easier to handle.
