K used to make me happier for awhile afterwards until I became an addict... but even then I don't think it made me depressed (other than the fact I couldn't stop). I'm very sensitive to getting depressed after using substances so the fact it doesn't effect me in that way should mean allot. I never got hang over’s from K though either.

Then you aren't injecting it slow enough or it's too concentrated. Try diluting it some and the smaller syringe barrel you have the easier it is to inject slowly.
 
Just had ketamine for the first time, and am very impressed so far! =D

Just a quick question; how 'lucid' is the K-hole supposed to be? Mine was very dreamlike, just wondering how far in I got.
 
a true k-hole is not lucid at all.
You are completely removed from your environment.

When you are still able to see and interact with people/things around you then you arent K-holing.
Achieving a k hole is easiest to do in a dark room with no outside stimulus (music doesnt hurt and sometimes aids in the experience).

Well most liquid K comes in a ratio of 112mg/1cc saline. I just asked a few friends that shot the first time and most of them said they didn't feel it at all.

It shouldn't really be sore the next day either unless you're doing it many MANY times. What gauge needles and length are you using?

I meant in terms of visuals and that sort of thing. I was completely gone from my environment, and felt like I was falling and spinning and being sucked into a blackhole. In terms of visuals though, they were basic and sparse and dreamlike if that makes sense, i.e. not lucid, but vague and weird.

Ketamine study on subanesthetic doses.

Hello this is a cut and paste from Wikipedia

"Vutskits et al from Geneva showed that short-term exposure of cultures to ketamine at concentrations of ≥ 20 μg/mL leads to a significant loss of differentiated cells and that non-cell death-inducing concentrations of ketamine (10 μg/mL) can still initiate long-term alterations of dendritic arbor in differentiated neurons, including dendritic retraction and branching point elimination. They also demonstrated that chronic (>24 h) administration of ketamine at concentrations as low as 0.01 μg/mL can interfere with the maintenance of dendritic arbor architecture. Can someone please explain what this really means in terms of recreational use of Ketamine and does this imply a real danger?

Probably laughing because here, at bluelight, it is not a legitimate question to ask. Bluelight is not here to help you get drugs.

Animal pharmacies dont just "give out" ketamine 8)
and he's laughing because it's far from a legitimate question. Bluelight has a strict no sourcing policy.
 
Holy shit yeah. Go look at a picture of what dendrites are. They're saying that they found that at certain concentrations, neurons will start to retract their dendrites and eliminate points where they branch off.

That sounds to me like a worse fate than regular old 'brain damage', where you have neuron death.
 
^ It's not - neuronal death produces conditions like Parkinson's disease; by comparison a slight reduction in vocabulary/linguistic skills or memory recall is minor league

That said, it's still not a good thing and best avoided whenever possible
 
fastandbulbous, I was considering something more along the line of ethanol induced neuron death vs. this potential for ketamine induced dendritic retraction. Even if neither have truly measurable effects on the human mind, the dendritic effects are way scarier than cell death.
 
It's worth noting that this study was done with immature GABAergic interneurons in culture.

Not sure if neurons in a culture would apply directly to a live human brain, and anyone have an idea of what a 5 µg/ml concentration in the live culture would equate to in a real life dose?
