ok i decided to go with it. $20 for a 1/16 of shrooms how gay is that?
whats some good stuff to do? me and this fag are gonna split an 1/8 then go chill in the woods. i was gonna bring my mp3 player but it cost me a shitload of money and i dont know if ill be too fucked and lose it.

I don't know how strong your mushrooms are but according to what I read above and the value/quantity of the deal you've made, it should be a mild to medium dosage. Normally your dealer should know and tell you something about it if you ask. Have you asked him ?
Good stuff to do on a first trip ? Well you want to take mushrooms because you want to know what it does I guess. So that's what your first trip is going to be about. No need to plan stuff to do. The experience is usually rich and interesting enough to keep you busy for the duration of the trip.
If you are preoccupied by losing your mp3 player, then don't take it with you as 1) this preoccupation may affect the quality of your trip or 2) you may lose it because you won't care about it at all anymore so much that you are going to throw it away if it annoys you for some reason, lol.
If you go through a phase of anxiety before the full effects manifest, don't worry, chill out, it is not going to last. After that, natural fears you have, especially irrational ones, might manifest and be greatly amplified, this is what's called a bad trip. It does not happen if the setting if good. Eventually you might feel glued to a time spot and freak out you are going to stay at that place and time forever. If so chill out, it ain't going to happen.
Other than that you may be scared only on extreme doses really and it revolves around the fear of losing identity or sanity or even life but in my experience (I lost the three of them in a row) this stuff can only eventually happen when the trip has become totally internal and awarenes of one's physical surrounding is totally lost so there is no whisky bottle at hand anymore. Some brief moments of pure existential terror and extreme mental pain.
The best in those states is to accept what appears to happen and not fight against it. The more you fight the more you are terrified, the more you experience mental pain. I am saying that in the case you would be hypersensitive to mushrooms.
When I first took mushrooms (a medium dose), the settings were really not optimal but the interest of the experience itself obliterated whatever bad vibes should have normally affected me. A thouroughly enjoyable and smooth trip from begin to end.

hey guys i got a question, me and a couple of my friends each had an 8th of cubies for each of us and me and my friend tripped out but the other felt no effect from the shrooms at all. why didnt he get high?

The possible explanations I can think of:
- he's unusually insensitive to shrooms (less probable)
- mushrooms are natural products, an 8th is only a dosage indication but the results may range from none to very intense... sometimes one mushroom can contain as much psilocybin to be an entire dose in itself while others contain virtually nothing. It all depends on how much raw material was converted to active principles. (more probable)
One experience means nothing, even 3 or 5 don't really mean anything. Say you possess a large batch of dried mushrooms which you ground up, then this powder is mixed well. Now you have a sort of uniform product, if you all take the same dosage of this you should trip roughly equally hard. If your friend is still unaffected he's a hardhead.

I have recently tried the mexicana strain, and found it to be a complete mental fuck up, as my report suggested. I hardly experienced any OEV's, just some floating of 2d objects (i.e paintings) and some size distortions. I have read from various people that this particular strain, the mexicana, is more of a mental fuck up than anything else, and that the colourful OEVs and dream-like stuff is experienced on the hawaian copelandia.
My first and so far only trip on the mexicana kind of put me off trying mushrooms again, But having read these reports & info has had me thinking twice. I still want to experience those dream-like OEVs and entering a new world, and perhaps the copelandia hawaian could provide this.
I'd like to know if these differences between strains are actually true, and if the copelandia holds itself truth to what I have heard. If so, I would make a last order before they are made illegal.

they were dried cubies and no he isnt on any medication he just ate an eigth from the same batch as the rest of us but he had no effect whatsoever, he doesnt do any other drugs than smokin alot of weed and mushrooms every once in awhile but he had no immunity since he hadnt tripped in over a week

I had my first experience with psilocybin this past Friday. A friend and I split 1/8th of an ounce. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, although I feel it could have been even more profound.
Another friend of mine is highly interested in trying said magic mushrooms, and he wants to try them with me. My question is, how long should I wait before I use mushrooms again? He wants to do them tomorrow afternoon, which would make it a week's time for me.
If it is safe, do you think that a full 1/8th of an ounce would be an ok dose for me, seeing as how I'm a pretty big person (6'3", 230lbs)?
