The Big and Dandy Basic LSD (acid) Questions Thread (First archived 10-31-07)

So a first time psychedelic user. One who has only tried weed/pills (And one who has only tried weed). If they have a decent tab. should half be taken the first time ? Or should the whole one be eaten? Maybe get 3, try half between us, then if its all good drop a full one a few weeks later?

Opinions and experiences?
 
^Hard to say. LSD is absorbed differently by the body then most drugs (fundal absorption) though I don't know whether this would be affected by stomach contents- assuming it would, the comeup may take a bit longer and overall trip might be less intense (basically the same principles which come into play with any drug and your stomach contents) but if you've got good, strong acid losing a few mics shouldn't matter all that much...
 
Two different acid types.

If you were going to take two different acid types:

White Fluff and Vintage Sunshine, how would this trip end up as opposed to taking just straight white fluff or vintage sunshine?
 
True "acid" is Lsd, Lysergic acid Dethylamide, and it dosen't change from batch to batch, assuming whomever synthesized it did his/her job right. Anyway, the only difference in doses from different suppliers is the additives they put in it, or how much they dilute it.
If both those batches really contain lsd and nothing else, your trip would be do different than taking "straight white fluff or vintage sunshine", or anything with lsd for that matter.

TYPES OF CRYSTAL
Needlepoint-very pure(95% ) white powerdery crystal,was available in small amount`s. The best of the best
White Fluff-Very pure(95% ) white light flakes of crystal. Still around and the most sought after. very pure
Silver-Good and clean(85-90% )-light greyish crystal. Was an unbelievable amount of this around in the late eighty`s and early nineties. Very good stuff. My first thumbprint was this kind. If you ate acid in the 80-90`s you probably sampled some silver.
Amber-Decent(70%?) This crystal varied from a light amber color to an almost dark brown color.Was always available.One batch called quadricept amber was the color of light honey and was very good.Lot`s a people worked with this crystal but I always would use silver instead since it was better and the same price.
Lavender-(60-70%?) light purple to almost black colored crystal. Like amber it varied batch to batch.
TJ(tornado juice) - purity unknown. I seen this shit in about four different colors and it always scared me. No experiance with it.
Champagne-(50-60% ) black crystal, nasty stuff IMHO. I worked with it once and swore to never touch it again."

There are differences between batches, but it's usually a purity issue.
 
Anyone know the average price for a gram of crystal? or at least a ballpark figure?
 
Unless you are very good friends with the "family" or know someone that can do the synthesis for you (or are a chemistry master yourself), you will never see a gram of LSD crystals.
 
There's no price discussion allowed in this forum. In any case, discussing the price for a gram of crystal LSD may fall outside of BL's scope.

Vibes? If by 'vibes' you mean the intent or disposition of the chemist and/ or middlemen who have touched it before you having an effect on the trip one will have on said lsd, it's the same as saying the stuff is blessed or cursed. Like if the guy who made it is a dickhole then you'll be more prone to have a bad trip on his 'cid- that's just flaky bullshit there. It has everything to do with the chemist's skill and almost nothing (read %99.999999999999999) to do with the chemist's 'vibes'.:\
 
Do you ever reenforce the thought that you're going to die within a few moments while on LSD?...I've tried it a few times, and it seems like it develops a certain action with producing what feels like a near death experience or something of that sort.

Iv done quite alot of LSD and I will certinatly say VIBES play a huge roll in the subjective experience. plays a big roll in DMT manufacturing as well, and I imagine any psychedelic. Everything has energy so why not believe it acts on each other in some way.
 
Seroquel and LSD

ok i UTFSE, and found some info on this.... but what i couldn't find is what dose is normally taken in order to "abort", for lack of a better term, a LSD trip? and will it pretty much put you to sleep right away, or just relax you and stops the trip? just wondering, as tomorrow i planned on tripping with a friend who hasn't done it in awhile... dont think theres nothing to worry about, but just for the piece of mind if something does happen...
 
Seroquel will knock your ass out, there is no staying awake in my experience. I would use it only if I wanted to abort consciousness.
 
I have a few seroquel and I've been wondering the same thing. I kinda just wanna have the shit as a backup plan before doing something really ridiculous, like 60mg oral 2C-T-7, or rectal DMT, or 150mg+ insufflated DPT.

goddamn I can taste that shit in my throat just thinking about it.
 
It will definetly abort your trip; if manage to stay conscious, you will just be, for lack of a better word, zombified.

I do recommend that you only use it if things really start to go down hill. If it's just unpleasant emotional stuff, for your own sake ride it out. Atleast that way your trip will end naturally and you'll have some closure regarding your experience. It truly is awful to have a "bad" trip and leave the psychological door to it wide open.
