The Big and Dandy 4-AcO-DMT thread - New incarnation

To me, colors just pop. That's all they do really, it just seems like my eyes are more sensitive to light and colors.

Last night though I had strong OEVs, I went into the bathroom and stared at the center of a tile edge and suddenly everything was wavy and melty. A few minutes later I fell asleep, a little over 3 hours after ingesting, and I just had crazy dreams all night, and one nightmare that was revealing an inner fear. I slept pretty damn good though.
 
Amazing stuff, tonight I am taking 62mg with nos and dmt on hand out in the woods.

I have done it before at doses of 20, 40, 50, and 55mg before and with clean tryptamines titrating to big doses, and 4-aco is awesome for big doses due to it's overall calmness compared to mushrooms.

My mushrooms trips seem to be considerably darker and I am much more inebriated, I feel a clear difference between 4-aco and stems and caps.

Very clear difference imo, 60mg+ is wild man. Be careful out in the woods and have a safe trip %)

i know what you mean. the first time i got a bit of this compound i shared it with three friends. three of us including me, had the prolonged shroomy trip that took about an hour to hit and lasted about 5 hours or so, but the other person that took it got that quick dmt punch.. he was full blown in 20 minutes and after about 2 hrs he was totally back to baseline while we were still tripping very nicely. he has taken it since and the same thing, super fast come up, dmt brevity. where i have taken it again (numerous times) and only felt the shroom effect. kinda odd that the exact dose of the same chem from the same batch can give 100% different trips like that.. offhand i can't think of any other drug that is this different in effect. i wonder what it is about this chem that causes this. i would love to see some more in depth research done or more info released on it as i absolutely loooove it!
 
How should 4acodmt be stored? It's in caps and about 10mgs in each? Just is the dark? Does it matter?
 
I took my first full dose two days ago. 20mg. (kept in mouth for 15min)
I had breakfast 2 hours before - which was probably a mistake.

the comeup was not only rough - I'm afraid that I have to admit that it was excruciating at times. :\
at +1h I smoked some weed which added some mindfuck but still didn't get things started and also didn't ease this terrible abdominal bodyload. I also tried to puke and it didn't work - adding insult to injury...

the only I other time I experienced something like this was with 'failed' homemade ayahuasca. feeling like shit and being in an intense experience - but not actually trip in any positive way.


at this time there already was a lot of visual activity. esp. when I brought n2o into the game. but the trip still didn't start.
thankfully I began to feel seriously good after eating a lot of random stuff at +2h. :D
but I still felt like it didn't really touch me, kinda didn't feel "present". not universally connected. not deeply spiritual and so on...(maybe how I would expect something like MDA to be like - having never tried it..)
this was maybe due to my high expectations regarding the material 8)

all in all the experience turned from "this is complete bullshit - this can't be 4-aco-dmt..."(but I never had the feeling that it's absolutely never-again-unbearable) to "this is great but not what I expected".

-> further research will be conducted sober or nasally and at 25-30mg.


btw: I would consider a ~23mg dose of 2c-i more intense in nearly every aspect.


wtf was wrong with this trip? or was anything wrong at all?...
 
^ Well, kind of related to your post, I have begun thinking of psilacetin as being quite inferior to actual mushrooms. I will probably get my hands on some more, even though I'm actually more excited to try 2C-I/2C-E at this point, but I really can't wait to start cultivating fungi. There's just something a little more spiritual and uplifting about the real thing, even if they might be more of a 'mind fuck', that is actually a rather welcome aspect for me, regarding psychedelics. The thing is, I've found mushrooms to always have the same effect reliably, while psilacetin depends highly on other factors.
 
i have recently obtained some 4-aco-dmt, but i do not have mg scales, and although i have found a set i can use, i will only be able to use them once.
i am planning on taking it for the first time with a group of friends, in terms of psychadelics i have experience with 2ci, 2cb, LSD, mushrooms, 5-meo-dalt and ketamine (dissasocitive, i know) and i would like to have a moderately strong trip, with lots of nice visuals :P
what would you reccomend as a starting dose? and would you advise nasal or oral administration?

im thinking 18mg oral, although in discussion with friends many think 20mg or more would be a good first dose. as i only get to use the scales once (will be buying my own when funds come my way) i just want to make sure that i have a good dose for a nice first trip.

In terms of dosages do they vary between oral/nasal or is it more the come up/length of trip that will vary?
 
I suggest oral for this one, as it comes on very quickly already. I find that nasal or rectal admin (much quicker routes of absorption) make it come up too quickly, leading to a state that's too fast to get much out of. At least for me. Plus usually oral dosing provides a more "magical" feeling with psychedelics, in my experience.

I'm thinking of 4-AcO-DMT with AMT and 4-HO-Mipt tonight, any info on this combo being good?

I've had 4-AcO-DMT with AMT before but I've never had any of them with 4-HO-Mipt

Thanks for any information on the combo, it should be an ego blasting one.
 
This is my first expierence with this substance. ihave 10mgs to start with and am dosing within the next hour. i have expierence with mushrooms 4 times. lsd 6 times. mescaline 4 times. 2cs ketamine. so im figuring this will b a slightly moderate or mellow trip but am not gonna risk taking to much. my question is, what would you say the best method of adminstration is for 10mgs of 4acodmt? dissolve in water or liquid and swish around in your mouth and swallow? parachute? capsule? or my idea was to put it on a spoon then add a little bit of liquid and bottoms up. followed by a drink of water. all suggestions of those who are more expierenced with the tryptamine will b greatly appreciated.

I prefer to take every psychedelic Ive tried orally except for 4-Aco-DMT. It is extremely benign on the nose, I dont even feel it as opposed to 2cx which burn intensely. I like the extremely quick come up as well.
