Can you expound a bit on the fountain metaphor? I wrote a report I titled Reflections in the Obsidian Fountain about an experience of mine combining 4-AcO-DMT, 4-ho-DMT and ketamine (ctrl+F for fountain and water in the report if you don't want to read it all) where a well and a fountain were central visions. At the peak, I felt like I was being held by the Divine Creator Himself whilst seeing a fountain of light with water dripping, flowing, and splashing all over the place in the most intricate designs and colors. It is interesting that when the intense part wears of, it feels very much like I had ingested LSD at some point during the day. I still felt like going out to eat afterwords, as with Psilocybes, I would be more likely to go to bed.
I'm curious about how strong an analogy the fountain is for your experience (as opposed to metaphors like "star burst" or "kaleidoscope") since the last time I used the same combo the words "ever ebullient foam" compelled their utterance repeatedly during my trip. I've had extraordinary and extraordinarily consistent trips with the combo, and this "bubbling water" theme has been very strong. I'm wondering if it may be a common conceptual metaphor for the unique effects of this drug during visionary experiences. If you care to reply, I suggest writing what you mean before reading anything of mine so that my wording has less suggestive influence on your memory.
