- nominations: the best song of all time v. nominations. use this thread to post your nominations. as stated, post one song or a hundred songs but please, please keep them all to this format, and this format only:

stairway to heaven,led zeppelin
imagine,john lennon
comfortably numb,pink floyd
sympathy for the devil,the rolling stones

using a set format of <song>,<artist> will make my life much much easier when it comes to pooling the songs and selecting the top 16. if you choose to post your nominations in any other format, i'll simply omit them and they will not be counted. it is very important that the artist is at the very start of the line - no space, no colon, no dash. these would not be counted:

- stairway to heaven,led zeppelin (not at start of line)
imagine,john lennon (not at start of line)
pink floyd,comfortably numb (artist and song wrong way round)
sympathy for the devil by the rolling stones (no comma between song and artist)
etc.

even though you've edited it it is still completely unintelligible, and therefore your nominations are invalid. There should NOT be a space after the comma.

You should do it like this so people can make any sense of your gibberish.

But other than that, thank you for sarcastically helping people learn how to type it out correctly. I've noticed you're a bit hung up on the formatting of the titles to be nominated, is everything alright? You do realize it's only there to help the person running this gig to sort things out easier, dontcha?

I cannot give a floyd nomination because i refuse to break dark side animals or wish you were here up from being 3 incredibly whole and awesome albums. They wrote my favorite songs but i cant do it.

You can always go back to edit your post. If you don't know how to I'll explain how. Basically the artist and title needs to be formatted a specific way for it to be considered a nomination. It should looks like "song title,artist" (No space between the title, comma, and artist name. :)
 
I scanned this thread I thought u guys were fucking around about the space.
Srry it was hard for me to go back and do it. Not because I didn't know how to edit I'm just so used to typing that my ocd like mind was resistant to not having a space after a comma
 
Haha, yeah I understand.. It just makes it a lot easier for the person who is gathering the stats.

how does it make it easier? I'm not hung up on it, i just can't see why you and alasdair are so hung up on NEEEDING the missing space. Nominations will not be considered unless the space is incorrectly omitted?

EDIT>>>>I accept your point about gangnam style being ineligible. :D
