so had a good dose of 9x 5 mg (45mg) and felt pretty good. after about 2 hours im back to normal feeling anxious. fuck this
 
its the next day after taking the nitrazapam (about 21 hours ago) and i have a codeine batch ready to drink. is it safe to do so?

i was shocked when my doc whipped out the old school pad a little while back, i hadn't seen one for a couples years. you don't see them unless you're getting scripts from hospital or the system link is down on the computers.
 
Thanks Mindtools, appreciate it. yesterday i had 45mg nitraz. still all good? (plus i have 360mg codeine to drink today)
 
Nitrazepam has a long half life. A lot of people get caught out this way - I did, I overdosed on oxy because I'd taken valium the previous day, and hadn't taken that into account with my oxy dosing.

That being said, for most people, I don't think 45mg nitrazepam one day then 360mg of codeine the next would be dangerous. Codeine is pretty mild and it's the one opiate where I'm not so concerned when people take it with benzos. It depends on your tolly though, both for benzos and codeine. I think you will be fine, but we can't say for certain. If you have a mate or someone else with you that's good. I think it's good to try and get in the habit of not using by yourself, it is hard to stick to in reality though.

Maybe someone here can help me out with a problem.

Infront of me I have 1 gram of pure diazepam, I'm wanting to devise some way to measure it in 10mg increments. Now because it's not soluble in water I can't use water I hear it's not fully soluble in Ethanol either but I'm not 100% on this.

Anyone have any experience with this stuff?

that's up to you.

i can garuntee it will be a drawn out process given you may have been on them for some time now.

you're best of discussing options with your prescribing doctor if you're wanting to make the move. congrats if you do! it's a long hard road but to reap the benefits and unchained to such a high dose of a benzo will be the ultimate win.

are you serious about wanting to get off/taper or simply throwing the question out there?

^ Sweet! thanks allot bro!

After a little reading I have found it's soluble in lipids like Canola oil for instance. polyethylene glycole also a lipid is what's used for I'V preparations as it's not like you can I.V cooking oil.

But because I have NO intentions if shooting anything ever, Canola Oil looks like a cheaper easier to obtain vessel to use for oral use. I'll do a little more digging and will report back.

The only reason I brought pure powder as it worked out significantly cheaper as opposed to tablets.
 
Just picked up 2x100mls bottles of food grade polyethylene glycole for $$$ delivered so that worked out well.

nice. prices aren't really allowed i don't think so you should edit that.

have you found instructions on prepping it into the PEG? if so don't forget to tell us your method and the concurrent results:)
 
went to the Doc today and he said he was restricted to being able to prescribe me xanax . is this true or is he bullshitting? are the levels of Doctors which are able to only precsribe certain things? just curious.....He gave me some valium today to get me through till tommorow anyway until then hes reffered me to another Doctor thats going to sort me out (hopefully with some xannies) until im able to get an appointment with a pysc.
 
i'm under the impression that yes, some doctors as well as practices have an umbrella rule of such in place. it's up to the discretion of the doctor in the end.

Yes. It is achievable. I never thought I wouldn't be eating 25 x 2mg alprazolam every day, waking up in hospital ALL THE TIME after grand mal seizures, etc. Nowadays, 6mg alprazolam does the job, believe it or not.

I don't have a physical dependence on benzos anymore, so 6-8mg when I take take them recreationally. Didn't really taper properly, had a lot of seizures, switched to longer acting benzos; namely diazepam and clonazepam (to a lesser degree) and stopped having fits if I didn't dose. I was also withdrawing from a huge dose of buprenorphine cold turkey. So it wasn't really a taper, but it took me about 4-5 months to stop using.

If this doesn't make sense, my apologies - I am smashed.
