My fucking doctor out of the blue has reduced my daily xanax's from 3 1mg to 2 1mg a day without warning.
 
So ended up getting some xanax from the doc. well Alprax actually (brandname) Im taking it for anxiety and I take 3mg twice a day but doesnt do shit, the valium i had the previous week worked a whole lot better (was taking 20mg twice a day) and same with nitrazapam the week prior. Anyone else felt that xanax/alprax doesnt help with anxiety? Could it be due to brand name ( i highly doubt?) Ive never had a benzo addiction, ive just always had such a tolerance when it comes to any drug which is frustrating me. anyones input?
 
^ Xanax is usually for panic attacks, although it is good for anxiety but not if you use it regularly. Do you realize you are taking the equivalent of 120mg Valium per day?!?! Do yourself a favour and get back on Valium keep the doses low and never look back (0.5=10mg). On another note my doc bulk billed me for my benzo renewal =_= WooT

Generics shouldn't make much a difference only taste, i can't believe your doc put you on 6mg xanax/day as a starting dose, thats way too high lol. I tried Xanax 1mg (off my mate, my doc was very hesitant with Xanax) but its way too short acting and in your face, making the urge to take more much higher. I prefer 10-15mg per day of Valium for an all day clear mind. If i feel tolerance creeping in I would rather lower my dose for a couple of weeks and then adjust accordingly but never go over 15mg in case I run out or whatever shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Hes probably doing you a favor, as much as I love benzos, I read way too many regrets and bad withdrawal posts, compared to say Valium with such a long half life and known history for being the easiest to withdraw from. Xanax ain't gonna solve all your problems and should only be an aid combined with other things for a short period of time. I suppose it depends if you genuinely need them but even so you shouldn't let tolerance ruin you, show it whos boss by beating it like what I said to Indy.

Just came off a couple weeks of 3-4mg alpraz daily. Sat/Sun/most of today was pretty fucking hellous..... Hard to find any sort of mental peace, especially in the morning and trying to get out of bed. GOing to bed and getting to sleep was fine (surpisingly, in the past that hasnt been the case), but fuck, getting up was a nightmare. Id get up for a morning piss feeling ok then go back to bed and suddenly the wall wall wall of thoughts would kick in. I say wall in stark contrast to a nice relaxing one though road... like my fucking brain had to think everything about everything at once without finishing a single fucking thought. Eventually you gotta get up and pretend the last hour of mental shit didnt happen just so you can get on with day. Fucking so psychologically taxing. Its fine if I have some dexamps left cos you have a coffee, a couple of dex and enjoy the sense of clarity and focus that envelops you as they kick in. But Im all out of those too.

Anyway, bit of a life saver, I was able to get a script for 70 10mg diazepam today.... theyll help ;). Oh theyll help.

Its come down to if I have xanax I need a least a week of 1mg per day taper slpit up into halves taken twice a day. Alpraz withdrawal at its worts feels like your thought processes rusty metal gears that refuse to rotate.... and thats actually preferable to the 20-lane freeway of thoughts that tends to manifest if youdont attempts to impose some of control over your mental processes.

Sorry guys, just needed a little whinge.
 
Was that doctor high when he gave you that prescription? From 40mg Valium to 6mg alpraz! Did you tip him some cash on the side lol, that's just downright irresponsible.

Pinkanga I didn't know you could get 10mg here, my doc says 5mg is the highest, but someone else told me you can get 10mg but only as a suppository??? If thats your thing not judging but just curious if i can score blue 10's here legally?

in reply to 88brenno - sorry ill elaborate on what i should of said. I use alprax/xanax for panic attacks and the dr prescribes me 25x 1mg n said take between 1-2 mg twice a day. I myself had to keep increasing my alprax dose until my panic attack had only been able to stop. im not addicted to benzos not at all. the only reason I got some alprax was I was sick of looking like a benzo addict to my dr having to go in every 5 days to try n hit him up for a nitraz/diaz script as I had run out again and would need 8x nitrazepam to calm me down or the same with valium. I personally dont feel xanax to be effective for my panic attacks so will certainly go try get some nitrazepam again as I found that to be the best. I dont take them every day nor think about them, its merely an aid in my panic attacks that ive fallen back into through some traumatic episodes in my life recently. Ive been given efexor (anti deppressent) for the long run to aid with my panic attacks too. Im just so suprised that I have such a high tolerance to both benzos and codeiene ?? Well I got some genuine 10mg Roche diaz tablets. Theyre not blue.

Iill just leave it at that.

Well the 100ml bottle arrived. I poured 1.3 grams of pure Diazapam onto the bottle and shook that fucker like a new born baby, but it still wouldn't dissolve. So I whacked that bottle in the Microwave for 20 seconds and it was went up to about 60 degrees and that done the trick. It's all dissolved a hearty 13mg a ml =D

Genuine Roche 10mg valium are different colours depending on which country they are sold in.

Blue is a common colour but they can also be white. Google is your friend.
 
anyone would know they've been obtained online, roche brand or not. 10mg tablets aren't available through prescription from a gp in australia for an anxiety problem. no offense if you're in palliative care, of course.

I just realised that they not 10mg after all. Seems theyre only 5. Silly me!


I guess subtlety and bluelight dont mix sometimes.
