Not really the physical comedown, but am definitely feeling the depressing lack of serotonin.

When I went to the shop a bit earlier to buy a razor I was edgy as fuck too, couldn't hold eye contact with anyone and was sweating like a paedo in a playground.

I must have looked like a right dodgy character with my bloodshot eyes, unshaven face and twitchy edginess.

We had some nice thunderstorms here earlier actually, lots of big lightning bolts, shame it was during the day, nightime thunderstorms are so much better :)
 
Agreed!

I don't know if its OTC in the UK but I would pick up some 5-HTP if you can, I've noticed that it helps take the edge off stimulant comedowns halfway decently (most likely because it helps bring your serotonin levels back up a bit faster).

I'm in a lot of pain from this sunburn, I finished my car project and then washed/waxed in the midday sun shirtless, as it was in the mid 90s F with high humidity. Oh how I wish I had worn a shirt now...

I was going to ask you about your avatar actually. It seems you have a new one everyday :D is that just because you can't find one that you really like? Or do you just like to have an avatar rotation system in place to keep people on their toes? lol.

If I'm still feeling shit tomorrow then I will try and pick up some 5-HTP but should be almost over by the end of tomorrow so might not be worth it.
 
It's both reasons actually. I was a serious AIM addict in junior high and high school, and everybody changed their buddy icons constantly. I guess that's something carrying over into forums with avatars.

My current one is Jack Nicholson in a screencapture from the classic film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, one of my favorites. Most of my avatars are screencaps from movies, and the Interstate 95 one is for obvious (or maybe not that obvious) reasons.
 
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is a great film, also one of my favs. I get the obvious meaning of the I-95 one too :)

I was just curious as a lot of the times when reading threads that contain posts by regular posters I sometimes don't even look at the name I see the avatar out of the corner of my eye and know who wrote the post, but when someone changes their avatar I always have to do a double check.

Feeling really tired after a burger and fries, and time still passes by a lot faster than in should do. I am definitely having an early night tonight and will be at work tomorrow :) If I don't go to work tomorrow you have permission to shoot me in the face.

I do totally understand the feeling like absolute crap after a stim binge thing though...even after taking a lot of dextroamphetamine over a period of time and then not taking any stimulants I feel pretty bad, usually takes 2-3 days for me to feel normal, and to sleep on a normal schedule.
 
Yeah, I will definitely be at work tomorrow. Will be going to sleep in about half hour so will get at least 8 hours sleep I reckon. Also the ODT has worn off now from earlier so there wont be any lingering opiate stimulation to keep me awake longer than I should be. Got my phone working again too so I have an alarm clock once more :)
 
Lol, it happens to me a lot of the time too, but it has been relatively quiet today and I am definitely going to have put the laptop away by 11pm and will have the lights out ready to sleep :)

I even think that with how tired I am I might not even need to take any diazepam or alprazolam in order to sleep, which is always a bonus. :)
 
Just been trying to sleep and everytime my body relaxes a small amount I get a sudden jolt go through my body which makes my whole body spasm (especially a massive head twitch from one side to the other), almost like a one movement mini seizure each time. Is not pleasant and is making it impossible to try and sleep. Is weird that this doesn't happen when I am just awake doing stuff but only when I am lying down attempting to sleep. :(


Will have to take some diazepam to try and stop this from happening. Is really annoying and frustrating.
 
Sounds kinda like serotonin-depletion brain zaps? Only full body zaps? Not fun Mugz, hope you get some sleep and make it in to work tomorrow. You can do it, I believe in you! Hehe :)
 
Yeah, feels like brain zaps just over my whole body, is not nice when it is across the top of my chest as well as the random head twitches. Diaz should stop it, have taken one so hopefully I will be able to sleep soon.

I'm definitely going to work tomorrow whatever happens though. :)
 
Was happening again on my second attempt at sleep, it is definitely Hypnic Jerks which is an involuntary myoclonic twitch, which is basically brain zaps but not always in the brain. Says anxiety and stress can make it worse too so need to try and put it out of my mind and get some sleep.
 
how does xanax compare to klonopin for amp comedowns?

i use to take klonopin for comedowns. it would make me relax and not so depressed and put me to sleep for atleast 4 hours. i cant get a hold of any now, but i might be able to get some xanax.
 
^Go for it. Xanax and klonopin are the only benzos i have had the pleasure to try and i would think for comedowns xanax would be better because of how quickly it kicks in and how sedating it is. If you got atleast 4 hours of sleep with klonopin i say expect alot more with xanax.

I do not know how much it will help for moodlift though because everyone reacts differently. Klonopin for me always gave more of a mood lift while xanax just makes me neutral and not think about anything really just like blank ha.
 
^Yep.

Nearly all the common benzos (alprazolam, clonazepam, lorazepam, diazepam, temazepam, etc) work well for stimulant comedowns. Its a matter of timing and, more importantly, individual reaction. The longer acting ones, in your case, clonazepam, can be taken earlier in the comedown with success.

I would go for the clonazepam but that's personal preference speaking.
 
awesome day at work. some of my co-workers noticed i was definitely 'happier' than usual hahahah. i snorted another .25mgs of sub and smoked some bubbs just now and my vision is blurry as fuck and my body is numb. i get this weird and unpleasant nausea from subs though and my heads feels a little stuffy :p
 
alright awesome! i would take 2mg of klonopin, how much xanax would be good? (not sure if ones more potent then the other) also i havnt had a benzo in over a month and before that my tolerance was low.
 
does anyone know the rectal bioavailability of dihydrocodeine?
its clearly better than oral, but im a geek and want a %

already spent half an hour on google.
