The ANGRY thread v2

You dont happen to know if W7 can be installed on an external HDD do you Shambles?

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhahahahahahahahahhaaaaaahahahahahahhahahahaha - heave heave - ahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahhaha!!! =D=D=D

Erm... no. Am not much of a techy kinda chap dontcha know ;):D<3

I'd trust things that folk like Mr 23 said though. And other folk who post in the Windows Technical Gibberings and Linux Technical Gibberings threads. For all your techygibbery needs <3

I wish I had better news for you...

Actually I do. Sort of. Everybody is different and reacts differently to such things. No foregone conclusions invovled. Sounds like we come from pretty similar (at least in some aspects) family backgrounds and - fwiw - in our case the level of fucked-upness varies from sibling to sibling. All are pretty fucked-up though :\

Believe me I understand the situation. Even when we all got put in a home for battered women my mother still fucked it off and took us back to live with him. Wish there was an easy answer. And there is: get the cunt locked up. I just wish life worked as easily as that cos then we wouldn't have half as many fucked up folk around and about the place :\

Am sorry I have nothing positive to say. But men like that are dangerous parasites. They need to be excised for the good of the whole. Mine is currently in prison - thank fuck - but he managed to screw up an entirely new family even worse than he screwed up his first one (that's my one) before anyone had the balls to do what needed to be done. In total that's over a dozen lives ruined as a direct result of one "man".

I'd call the police on him in a heartbeat in your situation... if only it wouldn't make things worse. Such actions need some co-ordination. In the case of my mother - when she finally got the message and had a definite way out to look forward to - involved secret phone calls with codewords, police intervention, choreographed escape routes and death all round if it went wrong. Nasty bizniz are families sometimes. I feel your pain <3

Sorry for not answering sooner, spent the day in a benzo coma.
Thanks for all that Shambles. Despite the topic it's kind of nice to know others understand. So sorry to hear what happened with your 'father'. I don't even know why nothing's been done with mine really. My mom is just so intent on keeping things as they are and our family 'intact' (or that's how she calls it, couldn't be farther from the truth frankly) that she'd rather just pretend everything's fine and he's done nothing wrong. As I said, it's sickening.
Can't believe it got to that point with your mother though. Really scary shit. I guess the one thing to be grateful for is his cancer. Can't believe I'm even saying that, sounds so messed up...but it's kind of true really. :\

today i am angry because :

ive got a friend who uses my house when i'm at work.
thier kiddie gets to use my tv + xbox, my cat gets fed and has company everyone is a winner

i get back from 48 hours of screaming hell at work, they were still here having stayed the night.

at 12 i did 'em some lunch
by 1 o clock i was wishing they were gone
by 2 o clock i was giving one word answers when spoken to
at 3 o clock i slammed my lap top shut, started banging around and sat in the garden simmering
at 4 o clock said friend fianlly gets the hint and fucks off

i quess i wont be having my day rolling around on 6apb then
too late to dose now as got loads to do tomorrow

since when did
"have you any plans?"
"nothing specific"
become
"i knwo youre job is stressful but do you want to spend today watching kids TV when you should be letting off steam??"
"hells yeah. fun is so overrated and as this is my only free day in months i'd love to spend it bored and frustrated"

first world problem i know, but i do wonder why so many people in my life when given an inch take a fucking mile, especially when it comes to overstaying thier welcome

arse. one of the drawbacks of being a closet RC fan i guess

That sounds shit, MB. :|

But... did you actually say to your friend "nothing specific" or "I'm having a loooong day at work and I'd like to fucked when I get home"?

An inch is only an inch if you say "this is an inch, it starts here at 0 and finishes there at sixteen sixteenths." ;)

Especially if they have kids, mum's and dad's are usually distracted and preoccupied, and need eveything spelled out.

Not helpful I know.

i really dont deserve sympathy for such a trivial thing, but cheers....

no i didnt make it clear, but IMO why should i ? the person concerned knows that my job burns me out sometimes, i had specifically texted them telling them it was a hard shift

surely people should be more aware of the fact that they've outstayed thier welcome ?
kids is no excuse...in fact people with kids should be even more aware of the fact that thier presance is creating noise and mess and get the fuck out after a few hours, not hang around hoping you'll do 'em dinner

did feel better for writting that post though, it was that or a facebook status....which wouldve caused me no end of grief

Remember you have all kinds of nice pictures to help you feel better here::X:!:p:(:|

maybe even :sus: I'm sure I can detect a malicious hint of teeth.

:X:!:p:(:|

Grrrrr I'm angry because I feel GREAT and ENERGISED and ACTIVE at 4fuckingam.

Why can't I feel like this in daylight? I'm ready to take on the world, but it's asleep!

:|:(:p:!:X

^You and me both knock! It's nearing 6 am here and I feel about ready to go run a marathon 8(

I find it helps with the frustration to just try and make your nights productive in any way possible :)

I'm pissed off that most software does not recognise the existence of audio files with non-musical content, so I have mp3s of Internet spoken-word "radio" shows which are stored in the Music directory and appear as songs by artists in players. Grrrr.

Pissed off that a guy with obvious physical & mental problems who recently moved into a flat near me has already been spotted by the local vultures or so it appears.
The last bloke who had that flat ended up being evicted as the same 'vultures' wormed their way into his life & flat and used his flat for dealing from and as a doss house for them to all get wasted in.
I'm thinking that this guy won't be able to stand up to this group if and when they make their move.
Now I am dead against grassing but does anyone think that if this group do end up moving into his flat and doing the same as they did with the last guy then do you think I should put a call in to the Housing Association to try and protect him if possible.
Don't like to see a bloke who must be in his 40's but not mentally taken advantage of by these 'vultures'.

That's a tough one. I'd like to think that if I was in that situation, someone would be good enough to stick up for me.

I've already spoken with my flatmate about this situation and he thinks we should call the housing association as they may be able to place the guy in a more suitable area where there are less chances of people looking out for blokes like him to take advantage of.
There are a lot of nasty single blokes who live here after being given flats when moving out of the local hostels.
There is a group of them who together are quite dangerous people especially to someone with special needs.
I don't want to see another poor bloke being used and abused by this group of cunts.

Good on you for having the selflessness to look out for the bloke. I'd hate to think of a vulnerable friend or family member in that situation.

How exactly are they victimizing matey?

At the minute they are in the act of befriending him like they did the last guy. They bring milk for him and 3 or 4 of them at the mo will turn up with booze so he lets them in and they stay all day drinking.
They done this at the start with the last tenant, then lots of them would turn up at his door so he felt pressured to let them in.
They then started dealing heroin from his place even though he wasn't a user himself.People would turn up at all hours to score or just to use the flat to cook up their gear in and gouch out.
He had plenty of fights occur inside the flat and put the front. His door was kicked in and a window got smashed once.
I think they will do the same to the new bloke as it makes it safer for them not having to deal from their own flat or out on the streets.

I wouldn't call that grassing, it's looking out for someone vulnerable in your community. Seems clear cut to me.

Thanks Jan,I won't report anything yet but if I do see the same things starting to happen over again then I will notify the housing association.
The bloke is clearly vunerable and I think they could maybe find a safer place for him to live in.
