I didn't think you even got Irn Bru in most places in England. English folk I meet on my travels always tell me they've never tried it because you can't buy it in shops.
 
Well that's a load of shit. They sell it in pretty much every shop around here. No glass bottles, though, as Sam said. The Scottish can be trusted with glass, but we can't?! Actually, we're probably as bad (as a whole - not me).
 
We used to get 'em in glass bottles when I was a kid. It's either cans or placcy bottles now. I miss the glass bottles of Irn Bru, Luco and a few of the Barr's range.

You don't get glass Lucozade anymore but you still get jeggys of all Barrs stuff & a few other brands as well. I'm surprised you don't get them in England. Spade whoever told you there's no Bru in England is either an idiot or a liar. You get it everywhere.

Glass bottles of Oasis were the fucking business, Orangina as well, they need to bring that shit back. It's just not the same out a plastic bottle.

I was over the moon the other day to find that my local shop sells glass bottles of BARR everything, Orangina, Irn Bru, Tizer!!! Ginger Beer and more. 79p a bottle, I was well smiling :)

Reminds me of being a bairn back up north, and my grandma saying to me and my cousins take these up to the shop for me and spend the 20p's on sweets for yourselves.
 
30p! Wowzers! I'd rather get me money back, than wander down the road to the communal community recycling bins. I got my hand slammed on by one of the huge chained up rubbish bin lids the other day, I wasn't impressed. We don't get rubbish or recycle van collections where I live.

I've still got a recycle bag full of beer cans sat in the corner of my kitchen that I need to get rid of. One of these days........
 
really fancy a glass bottle of orangina now

Orangina always reminds me of holidays in Spain as a kid, also you used to get this lovely bottled chocolate milk there too, cant remember the name..
 
The glass bottles do come with a price though.
Last saturday i had an awefull hangover, i managed to crawl out of bed to the corner shop and got crisps and a bottle of barr ginger ale. On the way back up the flat stairwell i slipped and smashed the glass bottle. I did not have the energy to go get another one. Sad day
