Got turned down by the pharmacy for some Gee's Linctus, despite the whole "its for my grandad, he's a bit awkward" facade.

They said unless i could describe the cough to them I wouldn't be allowed it.

You can buy it OTC, yes.

Will it have any recreational value for somebody on methadone? No. You'd probably have to chug litres of it to feel a thing.
 
They've sold it me there before, and it was a different pharmacist AND a different woman on the counter.
Whats the point in having something for sale if you're going to do your best to not sell it?
 
Fkin Doctors Scripts n big Fuk ups , seem 2 be happening 2 much recently.
Haven't scene a key worker since Feb. There4 My Doc who s job it is 2 write out the scripts has neglected to do so & gone on his holidays .
Should have a 2week meth script n 2 week benzo one but no teir ain't shit at th surgery .#
Hopefully the Mananger who is really nice can sort this out n get another doc. 2 write 4 me this sounds easy but isn't cos My GP owns the gaff n he is the o0nly one that is ment 2 do CD scripts .
In the meen time i want 2 get steaming drunk cos i'm pissed off but can't cos i respect my Ma 2 much n i have to see her later.
Aint got enuff money 2 score some decent H could get some shit H but that would be fkin pointless and wind me up even more .
I really need some Drugs prop-er hardcore Drugs .
If i get one brew i no it'll end up fuked but it's getting 2 that stage :!

Heroin would be really nice now, but I'm not going to put in the effort to track the shit down if it's going to be below-average. I do need some numbing at the moment though.

same kind of shit happened to me when i was seeing the resident key worker at my gp , she decided to go on holiday and not even bother to let anyone know on the days that she would be off that she wouldnt be meeting them

any other key worker i had would make a point of texting me and letting me know this kind of thing in advance but i heard many bad things about this cow, shes had heaps of complaints from her clients due to her bad attitude and i believe she has no clients at my gp anymore due to the number of complaints about her

anyway she left a script for me at the doctors and it was just a copy of the one that was away to run out luckily one of the doctors wrote one for me to last until she was back

so the week she was back i kept calling trying to make a ne appointment and getting no where , then on the actual day my scripy had run out she got in touch , i was like you kind of left this last minute, ive been trying to get in touch for a new appointment and she goes off on one saying i had never called her at all and that why should of i worried

well sorry but anyone thats on a script they depend on as much as methadone of course if they dont hear from their key worker until th day it runs out they are going to be wondering wtf is going on

i felt like an idiot cos when talking to mates that said she was awful i defended her

if i knew what she was really like i would of kept mu mouth shut and agreed with them

Thatv kit that was 18% is still about round ere n i can get it at .4s its damn good , considering lack of tolerance n all that . Onlyn got a tenner n need it .

Was that a pun with IRONS cos thats the least of my worries bottom of the league as u probably no.:\

Maybe 10 years ago i would ave.
Hopefully i get my script , but its creating alot of anxiety , which is one of the reasons i'm signed off sick anyway
Basiclly it is a vicous circle of addiction and incompetance.
 
yeah i know how you feel man, that week where i was trying to get in touch with my key worker and the days went by with not a word i got worse and worse thinking i was going to be fucked

You should contact your pharmacy mate, i dunno about england but when i went through something similar another time the pharmacy said it was also their duty to make sure that i was supplied my daily dosage and if they never got the script on th day they needed would contact the doctor sugery to get it sorted out for me and that i should never worry again when that kind of thing happened

Give em a call and im sure they will be able to help you out

My chemist is on the case already.
Back in the day my chemist was a freind of the family independent like . He was the best , would do anything for me . Was different cos he actually owned the Chemist .
