The 6-APB (that may be 6-APDB but probably isn't) Train Wreck of a Thread

Indeed. The meph situation in the UK was disgusting in many places. Cheap, addictive stimulants that have drug noobs (and non-noobs) up and fiending for days on end is not pretty. And for a drug that was so cheap, legal and abundant the seedy criminal side was getting out of hand too. It also created the situation that leads to threads like this and the 5-IAI thread - desperate punters happy to hoof lines of any old crap labeled as "The New Meph" with little or no concern for the potentially fatal risks involved. The meph situation in the UK was hardly a benign inundation of happy dust.

This is not a meph thread... but it's better than vendor gossip :D

Pretty much bang on the money there shambles it sucked in people from all walks of life, and if these new substances are any good I hope to god they aren't as compelling redose wise or it's just gonna happen allover again once the rumour mill gets spinning.

Hasnt any of you guys noticed that its actually on sale from yesterday?. Seems its called N-Cat and I got my 10g this morning.

Anyone else got it/tried it yet?

Nobody is telling what chem N-Cat is but all reports say it seems identical to whatever is sold as NRG-2. It's all but inactive - vaguely like MDAI only weaker. I'd stick with MDAI if I want a subtle, "nice night in" kinda drug - at least it has some history of use and isn't shrouded in secrecy for no good reason.

What's will all the green lighters dick sizing " hey a ordered a kilo of this" it rocks

STFU no one needs to know.

Well, look at the amount of traincrash TRs here and elsewhere after people taking NRG-1, whatever the fuck that is. Typical sketch: "then my boyfriend got a knife, held it to my throat and asked me to give him my phone, and tell him who was trying to kill him". Yet people have bought it, lots of it.

People love to get fucked, on anything. If this shit is anywhere near as good as the hype/shills/straight-up reports suggest, it'll be very popular. And with the mephedrone mass market sat with desperate blue faces and wodges of cash ready to pay for anything, expect to see harm maximisation practiced in full by unscrupulous vendors.

They're all stuck with shitloads of NRG-1 and the net awash with negative TRs. Think they'll flush or pass it on as some new shit?

I doubt that very much indeed. If any vendor truly actually had the substance mentioned and reviewed here, they'd be shouting its name from the rooftops.

well...whatever the fuck it is, i cant wait to try it

I thought I might pop in here with a comment on the prices discussion.

As one bl'r noted, the nature of free market economics will ensure that the price of a product that is in demand and in supply (ie: 4-MMC before the UK ban) will remain low. So if artificial price inflation was desired the product would have to be regulated by the government which could place tariffs on its import and taxes on its sale. This would inflate the price to a 'sweet point' (what that would be who knows) where people are still able to afford to get high but can only do it 'responsibly' (contentious term I know). The revenue from the taxes can then be funnelled into harm minimisation programs for those that do decide to use and such users would have the protection of a regulated market which ensures quality of product.

If only the world worked like this.... I can just see David Cameron taxing a new RC and providing harm minimisation programs for it...8)

NCAT was pure crap same as nrg2 only more finer and whiter so stay away from this too!

*snip*

Only report I could find of N-Cat use. Doesn't sound like the same substance as skyline/GZero TRs but who knows given such an eloquent discussion of use...

I think the people expressing how horrible the Mephedrone situation was in the UK need to take a step back and think about it.

Mephedrone was fun, relatively safe (unless in high doses) and cheap. I myself, who built up a tollerance to it, still spent less per session than I would have on alcohol. Did this make me do it more often? No. Were the hospitols filled with screaming club kiddies? No. Are there literally thoursands of scammers/2nd hand dealers waiting for the release of 6-APwhatever? No, I really doubt it.

Have some faith that maybe most people, like myself, just want to get high and we're not trying to fuck anyone over. I've had my eye on this thread for a week or two now and it's taken a ridiculous turn (from a well thought out discussion, to random incorrect fact usage, to straight up slander, offending someone who came here specifically to inform us).

Deep breaths people. Is no one else excited? It seems everyone else is already fed up of it before it's even arrived!

here here

So in the end some vendors will be selling 6-APB and some 6APDB, probably under the same name, you won't know which is which and one of them is potentially neurotoxic? Sounds like fun to me!

no. both are most likely neurotoxic similarly to mdma. but one is probably hepatotoxic too.

The one thing I know for sure in all of this is that it's going to be a long time before I trust that any of these new drugs are what they're claimed to be & even longer before I'm ready to make a decision on taking them.

I believe a price hike will protect customers.

It could work (marginally) only if it were legally regulated like alcohol or tobacco: with quality control.

Otherwise, it will lead to a higher adulteration (a way to make more money that your competitors when price is fixed - you make it cheaper by spread), which almost always is more damaging to the consumer than a pure product with known potency.
