The 2014 Fitness Goal Thread

Just to keep doing something once the supervised exercise program is over. I'm still triggering attacks from going a bit too hard, but I think I've learned where that limit is roughly and managed to increase it slightly just by regaining some of my previous fitness level.
I think I'm going to be a bit of a fat ass for a while longer, but I think at the time there wasn't too much I could have done, other than been stricter with the food even though I was feeling like crap. I can't push too hard to lose it, and right now that's not even the goal.

I want to loose weight and want to make by body in shape. I want my stomach should be flat and reduce fat from back side. By doing this my body will be in perfect shape.

Yep, I have had that obssession for months, and I made sure my diet was also included. This is the only way that has worked for me and it's not easy as it requires a lot of discipline. You should not deprive yourself but portions are important.

I am trying to just get back into my fitness routine altogether. Was doing really well (working out 5x/week, eating clean, not drinking much, getting plenty of sleep.... Feeling and looking great - if I do say so myself lol) and a girl emails me a couple weeks ago that she's been seeing my live-in boyfriend of 5 yrs since July.

That somewhat killed my gym flow lol.

Trying to to get my shit together and get back to where I was.

^ dang that really sucks :( kick that dude's ass!

i've really been slacking lately, just doing a few exercises on my pullup bar at home. i've been meaning to get to the rec centre and register for the gym and get my cardio up, i'd really like to get back into tennis but it takes a lot of endurance :\

^great! Any workouts you are going to get into? Activities perhaps?

I have been going at it as usual, I think my main goal right now is just to maintain as I am quite happy with my weight and my body. I hope everyone is sticking to their goals and going at it like I do eh?

My yearly fitness goal since I was about 18: gain weight to 160lbs. At almost 6 feet, I fluctuate between 140 and 150lbs, which is pretty damn scrawny, and no amount of weight lifting seems to break 150... I suppose this is better than the opposite problem though!

Weight lifting isn't gonna do much if you don't eat enough. Eat more, you WILL gain weight.

Oh you've never seen me eat. Everyone in the office now makes fun of me for eating so much!

Back when I worked on a ship, at sea I'd eat 4 big meals a day - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and another full meal at 11PM before I slept, some of those meals with a second serving. Granted I worked HARD, but still didn't gain any weight.

I eat pretty healthy too - whole grains, lots of veggies, and good protein, and reasonable amounts of fattening desserts, lol. Scrawny genes! Can't be helped.

^lucky tbh, i have a bigger build than most girls but with the amount of exercise i do I am in pretty good shape. I am not overly muscular, just the right toned body :)

I had been going at it for a while now hehe. I think I am in the best shape of my life! As I mentioned, i will always have a bigger build but I definitely feel stronger and slowly but surely, my body is getting toned.

2014 goal was to just get below a certain weight, 2015 goal.... get a gym pass or some more weights and start putting on some muscle

An addition to my fitness goal is also having a healthy mind. There's warm yin classes in the yoga centre i go to and I am planning to start going tomorrow night.
