looks like everything came out in a wash. here's what we got. cheers to the most exciting time in sports, year round.

AFC:

1. Indianapolis
2. San Diego
3. New England
4. Cincinnati
5. New York
6. Baltimore Ravens

NFC:

1. New Orleans
2. Minnesota
3. Dallas
4. Arizona
5. Green Bay
6. Philly

wildcard weekend will have:

AFC: 6. Baltimore at 3. New England, Sun. 1 p.m. ET (CBS)
AFC: 5. New York at 4. Cincinnati, Sat. 4:30 p.m. ET (NBC)
NFC: 6. Philadelphia at 3. Dallas, Sat. 8 p.m. ET (NBC)
NFC: 5. Green Bay at 4. Arizona, Sun. 4:40 p.m. ET (Fox)

who are you going to cheer for? since the Steelers are out, I will cheer for the Steelers West aka the Arizona Cardinals.

dallas is without question the hottest team in the nfc, and there's no doubt they're going all the way.

^ haha no.

I got my money on New Orleans or Arizona, repectfully.

As a Washingtonian, I gotta hate on the Cowboys. It's only natural.

it's weird saying how Dallas is the hot team in the NFC, but it's pretty true. I am not used to thinking Dallas is anything but horrible come these cold December months. them and Green Bay look great when you think about momentum.

although I did blast the Vikings for their late-season foibles, they did finish their last game to be undefeated at home. I could see them winning their first couple home games, only losing to New Orleans (if they make it that far).

in the NFC, I was all about the Eagles but they got absolutely shit-rocked by Dallas. what is interesting is that these two teams will be playing each other for Wild Card Weekend. oh how I love it when two divisional foes meet up in the playoffs - it's so intense!

it will be interesting to see how the colts do this year after having a near perfect season. their loss lastyear against the chargers was disappointing, that being i think their first game will be the real test. only other contenders i see are the gay saints and minnesota vikings

here are my predictions:

afc wildcard round

jets @ bengals
ravens @ patriots

nfc wildcard round

eagles @ cowboys
packers @ cardinals

afc divisional round

jets @ colts
patriots @ chargers

nfc divisional round

packers @ saints
cowboys @ vikings

afc championship

chargers @ colts

nfc championship

vikings @ saints

superbowl

chargers vs. saints

i know i'm picking the patriots in the wildcard round with my heart and not my head, especially now that welker is injured but i think the patriots can absorb the injury with edelman playing and the defence plays so much better at home.

some great games to come. what say you?

It just so happens that I agree with each and every one of alasdair's selections (ALL ELEVEN GAMES!).

And I thought that we never fully agreed about ANYTHING! ;)

The Chargers (at 4 to 1 odds) to win the whole shebang is the wager that I would make, if, hypothetically, gambling weren't immoral, illegal or fattening.

great minds think alike...

i feel pretty good about my selections. the only thing i am worried about is picking all 4 home teams to win the divisional round. if there is an upset in that round it will be the vikings not showing up and the cowboys taking it.

Form from the past month and from watching the few games a week we get here I see San Diego and Dallas making the Super Bowl. The ability to win ugly should never be under estimated. The Vikings look impressive at home and love the indoors so are always dangerous the further down the play offs they progress especially if they travel to Dallas or New Orleans.

A month ago I liked how Arizona were playing but who can really call which Cardinals team will show up in the past few weeks. Ditto the colts, I am not a fan of resting non injured players especially when you are on a roll. They have the telant for sure but have lost crucial momentum in my opinion.

Well I can't have Dallas winning it all. Wouldn't want them catching the Steelers 6 rings. My take is as follows:

Cinny beats the Jets (rookie QB will choke)
Dallas beats the eagles

Packers beat Cardinals
Ravens beat Pats

SB 45 STEELERS WIN #7

This years SB: Chargers beat the Packers

AFC wildcard
Ravens @ patriots
Jets @ Bengals

NFC Wildcard
Eagles @ Cowboys
Packers@Cardinals

AFC Division
Bengals@Colts
Ravens@Chargers

NFC Division
Packers@Saints
Cowboys@Vikings

AFC championship
chargers@colts

NFC championships
Vikings@Saints

Superbowl
Saints@Colts

The NFC divisional games will be very interesting this year, aswell as both championship games. If its the colts vs the chargers in the AFC championship.... that will be a good game.

Im calling Drew Brees to be the one tearing it up this postseason.

Teams that will win:

NE over Bal
Philly over Dal
and Zona voer GB

I have a rule for myself that I don't predict the outcome for a game I will be attending and since I will be at the Cincy-Jets game Saturday I can't make a prediction on it. But I am rooting for Who Dey.

wow, i agree entirely with this list!! although, the pats might take down the ravens.

I haven't looked past wildcard games this weekend, but I agree with alasdairm on those.

I'm hoping to get a chance to look at everything soon.

hectic week.

SD v. DAL for the SD win...

but I suck at this, so wouldn't dream about putting any money on it!
