the 2010 NBA playoffs!

Someone had to have told Lebron not to try last night. He averages around 20 points at least.
I've been hearing to bring in more revenue.

As A Cavs fan I have to say I am pretty worried about the situation in Cleveland. Which Cavs team will show up tonight? Will Lebron stay or go? I think he stays regardless, but obviously part of that might be wishful thinking...Go Cavs.

Boston is going to close out the series tonight they just have to many weapons on offense. You need three good players to win a championship two guys who can score 25-30 points a night one guy who can play defense and rebound very well. Look at Micheal Jordan he never one a championship without scottie pippen and they were not unstoppable until they added dennis rodman. Boston has those three guys in garnett pierce and allen. Cleveland is a one man team.

I don't remember who it was now, but someone after game 5 mentioned about Boston that they're like a leaky wall. By that he meant that if Allen's hitting perimeter shots... you stop him from doing that, then while you're shutting Allen down, Garnett crashes the boards, then when you shut him down, Rondo runs the court. In essence, if you shut down one aspect of the Celtics offense, another thrives. They really have been playing a very complimentary style of offense that we don't have the defense to stop.

OMFG... another disaster unfolding. Lebron is, again, not really pulling his weight. The Celts really had a nice string of 3s there where they took control. That boost may have been the end of the Cavs. :(

I know I'm drinking from the very same bottle that I was spittin in earlier, but my god has LBJ been a let down this series. The only way he'll redeem himself right now is by taking this game by the reigns and seriously bringin it back to Cleveland.

And with all the turnovers... he very well may end up with a triple double tonight. :D

Does that count??? For fuck's sake... 7 turnovers right now. What the fuck?

Well... what's done is done. Epic failure... huge let down. A part of me may have died tonight. Being a Cleveland sports fan is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life.

Please be easy. :(

Lebron nearly had a quadruple double with 9 turnovers. hahaha that is DEFINETLY not gonna get it done. I'm REALLY unclear on whos gonna win the bos and orl series. I have to see who draws first blood in their first game. I'm predicting Lakers victory in 6 games against the Suns.

GO LAKERS!! ALL THE WAY BABY!!!

Honestly... I don't think the Boston/Orlando series is really gonna be much of a series. I can't see Orlando even beginning to look like they'll lose that shit.

Lebraun is the Dan Marino of basketball. I just think its funny how it went from lebraun is the man/Celtics will lose to can we leave the poor guy alone. Suck it up and take your beating like any other fan of a loser.

I have no problems accepting my beating NOW. But while it's happening, it's a tough pill to swallow. I'm sure you're probably a Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots fan or something so I wouldn't expect you to know what it's like to work for something, but trust me... it's rough to watch your team roll over and die like that, not once, not twice, but three times in 3 years. Plus when you add up all the other Cleveland teams... I don't even think curses are this cruel, it's something far worse.

wow. just wow.

i wouldn't put this loss entirely on lebron, but all of the cavs. but, he's also their leader, so, if he's not present to lead, how should the others pick up his slack? i think williams was doing a pretty decent job in the first half, but after that...

i saw the brief news conference, and coach of the year isn't fired...yet.

i didn't realize it until they did highlights of the game afterwards, that the boston crowd was shouting "new york knicks" when lebron was making free throw shots.

i really think orlando will take down the celtics...we won't sweep, but we'll take 'em down.

i'd love to see LA get knocked out by the phoenix. at the least, phoenix is gonna put up a good fight.

can't wait until SUNDAY!

Mo did step up early. The first quarter he ran that shit, but you could tell as time went on that he just tried to do too much. As for Lebron, it was exactly the opposite. For someone who thrives on driving to the basket, he sure didn't go hard much at all this series. Credit that in part to the Celtics superior ability to shut him down, but he just didn't get involved in the offense and looked like he was ready to pack his things up and leave from game 4 on. That's not the brand of basketball that Lebron has shown us for the past 7 years... or even as far back as high school. It's not his style.

I liked listening to Avery Johnson last night because he brought up many good points. Points which I'm privy to make while watching the games. He's big into body language... you could could see it in the way the Cavs sat back. The way Lebron dunked and DIDN'T puff his chest out, but rather retreated to the other end of the court. The way that when LBJ got boxed in, he looked panicked. He was quick to make passes when normally he'd have a go at the boards. And the way they just completely lacked that swagger that they've had all year. They did NOT know what to do against an elder experienced team. There was panic on that team last night and now there's panic in the Cleveland fan base.

I agree though that the Magic will beat the Celts, I can maybe see another 6 game series, but we'll see.

I saw an interesting article comparing lebron to kevin garnett. not style of game wise but career wise. Garnet was teen phenom to enter the nba, put up some phenominal seasons with phenominal stats. some averaging 24 points 14 rebounds 6 assists and 2 blocks per game and finally, he gave his loyalty to a franchise that couldnt seem to win a championship (minnesota). garnetts words of advice to lebron: "loyalty is something that hurts you at times because you can't get youth back"

my money says lebron goes to miami or stays in cleveland. miami if winning a ring is his number one priority, clevland if legacy is number one on his list

anyways on to THIS season. another throw back finals would be nice, LA vs Boston :)
